For the same reasons Roy Moore and Trump are still free.

The difference being that Whiner will actually be paying a Huge price and they will be celebrated.

Basically, it says LAPD is investigating and working with prosecutors, but it is not easy when cases are old. The statute of limitations applies to some of them, and where it doesn't, it's still a difficult task to develop prosecutable and provable cases when there is no confession and no physical evidence.

He helped build a hotel in Azerbaijan with a very corrupt transportation minister who builds all sorts of insanely unneccessarily expensive projects in cahoots with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

He has a $12,000 a year salary but is a billionaire.

Trump and his family were deeply involved in the design and development of this project, and that means they violated the The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, which makes it illegal for American companies from participating in a scheme to reward a foreign government official in exchange for material benefit or preferential treatment. The law even made it a crime for an American company to unknowingly benefit from a partner’s corruption if it could have discovered illicit activity but avoided doing so.

Publicly welcomed a Senate ethics investigation into the matter.

Oddly enough, it's Tweeden herself that seems somewhat reticent for any kind of formal investigation or sanction for Franken. She seems content to merely make the accusation and leave it there. Curious, that...

I think it's just as likely they told her that if there are people out living that she cares about, they might be in trouble if she doesn't do what they say. Why make the accusation at all?
