Why is Israel richer than the 3rd World?

So, you take a bunch of Jews oppressed in Central-East Europe (Ashkenazi) and also a bunch of Jews oppressed in Muslim countries (Sephardi)
they move to Israel, and within decades they surpass the 3rd World condition.

Now, what is the Liberal explanation to why countries like Turkey which was not colonized, or Mexico which hasn't been colonized for close to 200 years are so far behind Israel in terms of wealth?

By the Liberal logic, Israel should be doing much worse than Turkey, or Mexico.

So, it seems in general to me the Liberal logic falls majorly short.

Israel has a tiny population and has received the lion's share of US foreign aid since 1948, plus reparations from Germany.

I believe that Israel also "administers" the hundreds of millions we give to "West Bank and Gaza" in foreign aid.

The point is that such an insignificant population would get the most foreign aid - over far more populous, more needy nations.

The Israel is successful because it is full of Jews.

You do know that with the territories occupied by Israel, Jews will become a minority, right? What will your argument be then?

In another thread, the person of the OP stated how he thinks the ME arabs are aggressive due to DNA.
Well the Jews and arabs are the closest in relation. They all started with the same dad, therefore they have the most common DNA.
They should be the most similar to each other than any other ethnicity.

As for the Jews becoming a minority, the days of Jews bending over and grabbing the ankles are over. Worry not, they'll think of something.

 

That they certainly are. I'm not that strong on history but it seems to me, the difference must lie in such huge disparity in numbers. Perhaps, by being such a minority and constantly forced to fight for the survival of the people, Jews have developed some secret ingenuity recipe?

Nah, everything Israel today is the result of the Brits giving the stolen land. They didn't fight for it, sure they fought to keep it, but funded by the west.
They don't even deserve to have a land, IMO, what reason? What other 2000 yr old ethnic group should we give stolen land so they can live where they used to live?

That's probably what Ashkenazi Jews got, a sort of Middle Eastern aggressive energy, mixed with Eastern European intellectual prowess.

Nope, and I didn't say you did.
One doesn't need to be aggressive to create. Many artist and musicians are not aggressive.
Even engineers are not aggressive.
But aggressive people tend to be impatient. Which has nothing to do with creativity.
