It's a no-brainer, frankly. After 30 years of covering up, whitewashing and obfuscating his crimes they are now throwing useless Clintons under the bus in an attempt to reclaim moral superiority which they realize they need to relentlessly attack this administration. Yep, absolutely. Not only that, but this guarantees that Hillary Clinton will never again be in politics. I believe the media finally realized her excuse tour where she came up with dozens of reasons why she lost (with none of them being her) was dragging the party down and became a total embarrassment. Now that they're piling on her she doesn't have a friendly venue for interviews which takes her out of the public's eye and hopefully forgotten about in 2020. Having her around in politics during the next election would have been campaign fodder for the GOP, but the left can now claim to have seen the error of their ways and moved on. There's also a social justice component here as women have moved to the top of the victimhood pyramid for the time being and the right has frequently mentioned Bubba when the Moore story arises. Can't bash Moore when you're giving the Clintons a pass. Did Bill Clinton have accusers come forward? Was he ever in the situation that Roy Moore is in now? Or is this just happening now? Because if he did assault women and it was known but covered up and ignored, then that would be appalling and hypocritical, for sure. Otherwise, you can't expect the media to have covered facts that had not come to light at the time.
With accusers coming forward? Was there anything meaningful, anything comparable to the accusations against Moore? Anything as substantive as the Lewinsky scandal?
