I chose to not include lies, so that is why those aren't listed.

No that's not how they do it and Trump leads in voter enthusiasm which is what gets people to the polls.

Yes, that is how they do it.

And yes, voting to defeat a person that you strongly disapprove of is just as strong of a motivator as voting for someone of which you approve. That is why Joe Biden leads Trump by net enthusiasm.

I don't think you can shove years of Trumpery under the carpet, and view Biden in a vacuum.

Were there a tabula rasa as the context for presidential candidacy, there is no reason to assume that "Return to Normalcy" Joe would be the first choice of most Americans.

However, context always pertains, an election is inevitably of its time, and never a timeless singularity with no reference to current exigencies.

Past is, ineluctably, prelude, and the present contingent upon what precedes it.

538 is most assuredly not "ultra left wing BS."

The Democracy Fund is a public policy-oriented foundation chaired and principally funded by eBay founder and former chairman Pierre Omidyar.[1] The organization contributes to center-left and left-wing media organizations, groups seeking to infringe on campaign speech rights, left-of-center voter registration organizations, and nominally non-aligned public policy organizations.

The implication here being that Joe Biden or his campaign staff take time out of their day to ensure that I have the proper messaging regarding 538.com's political leanings?

Yes, they do. But it sounds dumber when you put it your way.

That's your ringing endorsement of why you support Biden? Seems a bit underwhelming.

    Sure
    Your claims are fake news:
Bernie's vice chair says voting for Biden is like eating a half a bowl of sh*t. She continued... "It may be only a half a bowl, but it's still sh*t!

Tough to get real enthusiastic about eating a half a bowl of sh*t!

I never understood why you guys ran fat crooked Hillary who couldn't consistently stand up, had those weird coughing fits, with her eyeballs rolling around in her head like marbles, but now Biden is your encore?

"Like eating half a bowl of sh*t!" indicates "enthusiasm" to you? Whatever floats your boat!

A party picks its nominee based on the likely opponent and the political climate of the times. Its not done in a vacuum. I like Biden because he was the candidate who had a likelyhood of beating Trump, but no likelyhood of risking seats in the House, or Senate.

Pre corona he was someone who would not endanger house seats as the nominee and still be competitive for the WH. Post corona he is someone who will not endanger our capacity to win over the senate or keep the House, and he might well win the WH. We may end up with a clean sweep with this guy.
