    What TF is wrong?

How many time do you have to shown :
IF abortion is banned that takes away women's right to bodily autonomy.

IF abortion is banned that takes away women's right to bodily autonomy.

IF abortion is banned that takes away women's right to bodily autonomy.

Now show clear proof that is wrong or quit questioning it...

    Who cares...
What does that have to do with what we were discussing? Why are you going off on all these side issues?

"""""I get it, you’ve gotten beaten up over the abortion issue so you’re looking for any kind of win you can get.""""

Is that so you never have to actually make a statement, take a stand and then defend your position ? :) I bet that's it...

Because not one single CENT of taxpayers money should used.

I don't care, I'm just saying that I don't think taxpayer money should be spent on abortion.

Why not? It's a legal medical procedure...

But with most Anti-Choicers it always , in the end, boils down to money NOT that "precious life"...

BTW, I noticed you now segued off into "taxes"...;) Another topic change..

So, you have no good argument for what we were discussing, can't address pertinent posts , so will go on one of your silly nit picking tangents about something that happened years ago and has no bearing on the present discussion whatsoever....I got it..;)

Correct, but this doesn't mean that she has the RIGHT to any support that she wants. Healthcare isn't a RIGHT for anyone. I don't have the RIGHT to cancer treatment. I guess this is one right that women get the we men don't - the right to some healthcare.

It's hard for me to claim to be logically consistent, but I make an exemption for rape. Some also make an exemption for incest, but I've never understood why, given that incest can be perfectly consensual. I don't know why it would be assumed to be non-consensual, but perhaps there's other factors at play.

You challenged me for using an analogy. I am simply pointing out that you've done the same.

Sure I do. It's having the autonomy to do whatever you want to your body.

Jumping to "rights" from the quoted post is something of a non sequitur. No "rights" for women were mentioned. Rights, being a human concept, are determined by humans. If we decide you do, you have the right to treatments. There are good arguments for making healthcare a right.

Oh, so you wouldn't say that women have the right to abortion?

NO, it's protecting your body from others doing things to it without your consent.

Why are you going back to square one....can't address the facts? Short memory? What?

"Health care" has NOTHING to do with bodily autonomy....the right to have an abortion whether covered by health care or not, that is irrelevant...

    Yes.

Why? The procedure and outcome of abortion is the same whether the sex was consensual or not.
    Aren't the fetuses of a rapist's "precious life" , too ?

    If it's with a minor (daughter, sister) it's a crime...it's rape...

yes, and that is the point, the procedure is the same either way, it's just choosing not to have a baby, a choice only the potential mother can make

It seems you actually DO care given that you're complaining about tax payer money being spent. Just odd that you, someone who isn't a citizen of the US, is so concerned about what US tax dollars are spent on.

Why? Show your reasoning. And no, "That's the law" isn't good enough. We've had plenty of immoral laws before, and surely some still exist today.

They can be ordered onto missions where they will likely die.

No, but does it give one the right to kill an equal?

How so? Is holding you over a cliff, and you then demanding I put you down safely rather than dropping you not a limit on my bodily autonomy? Isn't it telling me what to do with my body?

Again, why? Why is viability the answer? And why don't the fetuses after that stage have rights rather than protections? And what do you think the punishment should be if one aborts after 23 weeks? Is it tantamount to murder? Is it something lesser? Why do you reach the view that you hold? And what do you mean by "viability"? What is the test for that? How viable is to be considered viable? And should the test be viability or 23 weeks? Will the two equate in all cases?
