White prolifers like to pretend they care when ranting about abortion being a genocide against blacks, but rush to want black women sterilized.

Wow... where did that come from??

I just want every baby to have a chance at life, when they can live a healthy happy life, especially when there is a loving caring family that would be more than happy to take them in.

That is exactly what most people want..... a happy life with the right to choose what to do with their bodies.....

You : """they can live a healthy happy life, especially when there is a loving caring family that would be more than happy to take them in"""

....and you can guarantee this ? ....how?

Pro-lifers believe that "kid" is already there.

Just play along hypothetically for a moment and assume that there was a child in there. Would you still support aborting that child just because the mother did not want or could not afford a child?
I don't believe anyone here would approve of a mother dumping her infant over a bridge because she couldn't afford it.

Has that happened recently, or is that just a hypothethical?

What what are you implying-you support mandatory sterilization laws? There are problems with that. For example, what if a woman had a change of heart and wanted to have a kid afterwards?

Has a mother dumped her infant over a bridge because she couldn't afford it? Yes, that has happened.
Did you mean is there a child in there? Well, of course that is a very controversial question. Some would say it depends how late into the pregnancy it is.
Pro-choicers of course do not want to admit it's a child at any stage in the pregnancy. That could be very damaging to the pro-choice argument, after all.

I don't play your bizarre games, they make no sense and have no point.... and if you keep bringing in women who murder children it will be deleted as off topic...because it is.

There is no reason to "admit" it is a child because it is not a child , it is a fetus.

And references to women murdering children will be reported as off topic because this is about abortion and it is not murder of a child or murder of any kind.

No majority, but about half are repeat abortions. There's nothing wrong with that, women have to control their fertility for over 40 years, it's not surprising that many have more than one "oops", especially considering the reliability of present-day birth control. It's rare for a woman to have more than two.

Vasectomies should be provided by the government for free with a bonus. Other birth control should be free.

    MOD EDIT - Off Topic

What if the woman who got an abortion had a change of heart afterwards and wanted to undo what she had done?
How is sterilization really so different here from abortion?

The local government of Bali was giving away free motorscooters to men who got vasectomies. This was about 6 years ago.

Do you think most of them don't believe it's a child, or they know but just don't care?

I don't get what you're implying by replying to my question with another question.

    Please, elaborate.

No, Pro-Choicers are the intelligent factual scientific side that KNOWS a fetus is NOT a child.

    It's a fetus.

You can call it anything you want ..a child, a bun in the oven, a turnip...but is still a fetus......

Now, did you have a POINT in maintaining that a pregnant woman has a an actual child inside her???

    What would that change? Nothing.

I think they convince themselves that it's not a child.
Some of them know though, but still believe it should be a woman's right.

I meant that if you are going to object to sterilization, because the woman could change her mind later, shouldn't you likewise have an objection to abortion on similar grounds?
What's so terrible about sterilization. Yes, the woman might regret it later and want a child. But a woman might also regret having an abortion later and wish she could bring back that child.
Just pointing out there could be regrets either way. So the point you brought up is not a terribly strong argument.

You are misinformed. The vast majority of late term abortions are performed by women that wanted a child but due to a variety of complications chose not to continue the pregnancy. I don't know why so many people think this is such a black and white topic that we can through blanket accusations and blanket legislations on it. http://www.ourbodiesourselves.org/stories/my-late-term-abortion/

I refuted that pro-choice claim in another thread as well: Late-term Abortions and the REAL reasons they are performed

Yes, when the woman actually wanted the child, there's a terrible amount of grief. Why do you suppose that it is?? Maybe because it's not just an inanimate clump of tissue?

It's MUCH MORE responsible to not get pregnant in the first place. Excuses are like (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s, we all have them and they usually stink!

"They probably should have made better, more informed decisions before they or at the time of the conception......
Face this (IMO) fact........Woman who have abortions usually return to have another....and maybe another.....etc.

It's NOT a suffering problem. It's a responsibility problem. And many women (and men) are being irresponsibly......."

AND YOU HAVE A READING COMPREHENSION PROBLEM......
NO WHERE DID i SAY ANYTHING ABOUT "late term abortions".
And it is a "black and white" thing! Problem is too many (You included) make excuses for passion before responsibility!

not surprised that you turned this into a political football. "You" have no business assuming what anti-choicers do or do not care about. " You" have no business deciding what "we" are, or what "we" are not responsible for. There is plenty of real pain to go around, and that is why I wrote my post broadly rather than narrowly.
