True, it can be done, but notice the lack of accuracy. Not the best weapon for hunting or defense at that range.
Indeed. 100m with a rifle or slug gun w/o a scope is child's play; a handgun takes more skill, but is not particularly hard.
I have one with a .30-30 barrel. If I were to scope it, 100 yards would be child's play with it (my eyes aren't good enough for open sights anymore).
Lot more chamberings now than my Gen 1 back in the day (mid 70’s). I had three or four barrels, one, pretty sure it was .22 Jet, was scoped and could take prairie dogs at 100 yards steadied on an x stick. But, I often used the 45/410 barrel, using the .410 with 9 shot to take out big game on the fly (dragon flies) at a nearby lake, challenging, but fun.
