    Hi,

Smith, Warner and Bancroft all need to be banned for life from any form of Australian cricket, international or domestic. Including coaching.

They knowingly cheated, and the only thing we as a nation can do to prevent others calling Australia a nation of cheats is to life ban all of the guilty parties. To make sure that they will NEVER play another game of competitive cricket.

Smith and Warner are some of the finest players of all time. I like and respect both Smith and Warner. Banning them will cripple out team for the next few years. I don't care. Tough ****. You cheat, you're out for life. No exceptions, no sympathy.

Why? If they knew this would be the outcome on the day there isn't a chance in hell they would have tried it and thereby disgraced our nation. Nor will anyone else try it again. Period.

    Ban them unapologetically.

Remember when Mack Horton came out at London 2012 and badmouthed the Chinese for being cheats, even though they served their time? We are the Chinese team now.

There is no functional difference between drug cheating and ball tampering. You're giving yourself an unfair advantage, and you did it with malice aforethought.

You should never play again. Cricket Australia should make it clear that they no longer recognize any of their records anymore. Their legacy should be erased.

And I'm against Bancroft getting any sympathy either. He should get the same, he did it. I don't buy the argument that he's vulnerable and not in charge of his senses when being ordered from below. **** that, he could have refused and taken the consequences.

Ban the lot, expunge their history.

    We always believed,
strongly believed, we were head and shoulders above the rest on this planet.
Well, we were strongly reminded, that that is not the case.
3 young people screwed up, as we all do, especially at a younger age.
Maybe, just maybe, the winning part was put ahead of the gentlemen's part....
That is partly to blame on people serving as a role models, coaches and others, but also ethics and values of our degrading rotting society....
    Do they need punishment? Yes.
    Life ban? No.
    Reg.

I agree, they knew what they were doing was wrong, it is not what Australia is about , we are softening up on everything, if we don't make a stand we will just be another country. Our politicians have done their best to destroy "A fair go". Now our sportsmen seem to be following suit.
