Here is the thing people. A fringe group in Charlottesville decided to remove a statue. As it turns out, the courts are now in the middle of this, thus for the moment the statue is safe. This has nothing to do with black people. Whites waged war against whites and called it a civil war. For two years, blacks were not emancipated. That was later on for outlaw Abe Lincoln. Abe got slammed by the supreme court and thus is called an Outlaw president.

This was before the clashes took place.

5 fast facts on the statue at the park. Well, the bigots of the City changed the name of two parks. They now call Lee Park-- Emancipation park. So this is for the blacks. Jackson's park is now Justice park. Stonewalls statue remains as does Lees.

A judge ordered Charlottesville, VA to stand down for 6 months in May 2017. If the statues are to be saved, the legal hats need to prevail.

The media stirs this up a lot by selecting names for protesters. Supposedly the violent BLM is good yet the non violent group in VA was terrorists. Go figure that if you are able to.

Turns out that both statues, one of Lee and one of Jackson have a extreme cost to remove.
I do not get why the city allocates money for this when for the same money, they could pay for the college education of so many students. They could use the cash to build or buy some residences that the poor could use as they got onto their feet.

Removing the statues is vindictive. They admit it is over what Dylan Roof did. Dylan got prison time. Time to stop punishing the rest of us over what he did.

I think the protest should be allowed as long as it is going to be peaceful. There should also be hundreds of police officers to control violent protesters as they do in Britain whenever a far-right rally takes place.

I bet someone could start a GoFundMe for the costs of removing the two statues and they would have enough money in less than a day.

August 13, 2017 - Heather Heyer came to downtown Charlottesville with her friends to make a stand against white nationalists who converged on the Virginia college town to demand the city keep a statue honoring a Confederate war hero, her boss said on Sunday.
