statism is when the state runs everything certainly not when it plows snow or prints money

They started out gathering power in the absence of an international rules-based system.....

And so your definition of freedom requires you to
    1. build a wall to keep out the resulting chaos,
    2. to build prisons to deal with the highest incarceration rate in the world.
    3. to engage in trade wars, the ultimate outcome of which we are awaiting with bated breathe.

Every statist has their reason for being a statist.

    I trust the free market.

aw you are such a sweetheart. I'm against prisons too. someday we'll all be so nice to each other that no prisons will be necessary and we'll all even leave our doors open at night the way we used to in the Republican 1950's

No difference between a wall and a border?

See how the conservative's understanding is at the kindergarten level.

a border becomes a wall when your liberal neighbors are very poor and want to break into your conservative capitalist country to get rich. 1+1=2

That's what happens as a result of competition without IMF oversight.

Why do I care if there are 7,000 currencies. I use a debit card for all my purchases.

your debit card would be for your currency, not the other 6999 so you'd have to study all and guess what they were worth.

Many of those "liberal neighbours" have been r/w military dictatorships which entrenched their poverty and are now crippled by corruption, despite being nominally democratic:

"Although Honduras has made progress toward strengthening its democracy since transitioning from military rule in 1982, abiding violence, corruption, impunity and inequality in one of the hemisphere’s poorest countries have undermined citizen confidence that Honduran institutions are governing for the benefit of all. Political polarization persists after the 2009 constitutional crisis that culminated in a coup d’etat against President Manuel Zelaya."

Not to mention the unacceptably high incarceration rate in the US itself, and likewise the increasing political polarisation in the US itself..

something for sale would probably be for sale with another currency. It would be like trading with a foreign country
