Here's the facts: The deflate gate nonsense about NE winning the playoffs last year was a canard. Brady and NE showed up the NFL by taking the issue to court and winning. Brady and NE then comes out this season, where the psi of the footballs are manically monitored, and goes what is it 7-0? And I'm not even a NE fan....

Brady is despised because he and NE win - they push the edge of what is allowed and not allowed and yes, they overstep the bounds and when caught get slapped. That's what winners do - they find a way to win. This is best summed up by a movie quote from "The Rock".

"Losers always whine about their best - winners go home and **** the prom queen".

That is not only insightful but also true. Whiners about NE and how they're dirty, cheaters, etc.etc., simply wish the team they root for could be as dedicated to winning. I wish my team was as dedicated to winning, but they're not and they whine.

I'm used to mediocrity from the Dolphins. I think firing Philbin was the right move. I don't really know who the new coach is... but he's passionate. Rule #1 with your team is sell your product. If they don't buy into the system, I don't care who you have playing, you won't win.

Well....my prediction was not too far off.

Tom Brady and the Patriots were just too much for the Dolphins but that Dolphins Quarterback looks like he could lead the Dolphins into the Playoffs.

It's really not fair to the Dolphins to attempt to compare how good they are or if they are headed in the right direction after playing the New England Patriots as the Pat's are a MONSTER TEAM and Tom Brady is motivated to the point he doesn't want to make any mistakes as was seen Thursday night when Brady was sacked on 2nd and goal as he pounded the ground in anger.

The Patriots were already a lock to win the game but Brady was still angry over blown protection and on 3rd down fired a TD pass.

This Team the 2015 Patriots look unstoppable and although they might lose one or two games I definitely see them in the Super Bowl.

The CBS announcers once again brought up the possibility of the Patriots going undefeated but I highly doubt that will happen but hey....one never knows.

And if there is a Team that can do it.....it is this Patriots Team.

They gave up a cheap field goal at the end of the game and didn't cover the 8' point spread. They cost their fans a ton of money by letting the Jets come that close. However, they came back and trashed the Dolphins last night. Right now, I think the Pat's are in a class by themselves in the NFL. They were very good last year, but their defense was suspect. This year they are playing excellent defense and their offense is almost unstoppable. Unless they are hurt badly by injuries it will be tough to beat them this year.

The Patriots have a lot of new faces on Defense but they have a number of Veteran Players who are coming into their own.

I love the Patriots Linebacking crew and the Cornerbacks are doing a fine job with the loss of Revis.

They are just going to keep on getting better which is a VERY scary thing for the rest of the NFL.

A jersey is one thing, a jersey with a number is another thing. A jersey with another man's name on your back is, well, you might as well let him sniff your crotch.

You ever see these guy's who at one time when they were younger played soccer but now they are old, fat and bald but STILL get dressed up with soccer player apparel and they go to the bar to watch their families nation of origin's soccer team play and at the half they go outside with their other old and fat buddies and kick a soccer ball around the parking lot or field next door until one or two of them get's hurt because they are so out of shape just the act of running a short distance results in them tearing an ACL and they go down hard only to be too macho to admit they really need to go to the ER!!!??? LOL!!!

There was nothing credible that went back to him on "spygate" and "deflate gate" was a joke.
If those balls were so under inflated as to give an advantage, why didnt the refs notice.

uh because the refs are in the pocket of Kraft same as Goodel is.duh.the only thing that is a joke is that they have not been stripped of all their superbowl trophys.you and so many others besides the OP are in denial that this is the greatest scandal in sports history.

the fact that so many former NFL players have come out and said he is a cheater INCLUDING his former center that played on three superbowls with him,its sad and pathetic that so many here incluing you and the OP cover for them.

they did not say anything same as they invented the ruck rule, the biggest BS call in the history of the NFL playoffs so the cheats would go to the superbowl that year and win it as well which is why they allowed the cheats defenders to mug the Rams recievers downfield. and this is coming from a guy who has rooted against the Rams to lose each week the last 20 years for one reason obviously so i was happy as hell back then at that time they won.

had I known they had to cheat to do so though i would not have been so happy though.I dont know who is more corrupt, and NFL owner who takes a team away from their city of 49 years,or one that has the refs in their pockets. they are both evil scumbags so its a flip of the coin on that one.

Issac Bruce of the Rams said he had never played in a game before where the players were allowed to knock him down like that and a former NFL ref said it was the worst officiating game ever he had ever seen.

Oh and many former NFL players have said the cheats get away with holding all the time as well.it so obvious to any thinking person the NFL is as scripted and as phony as pro wrestling and the refs are all in Krafts pocket same as Goodel is.

But you all cant think outside the box and are so much in denial especially the OP,you all invent all this nonsense to avoid all these facts.

    Roger Clemons.
    Barry Bonds,
    Mark Mcguire,
    Sammy Sosa,
    Lance Armstrong,
    Tom Brady,
    Bill Belichick,
    Chicago Black sox,
    New England Patriots.
what do they all have on common? *

    thats what.

It is so pathetic and sad so many like the OP play dodgeball and ignore these facts and invent excuses that this is not all true everything i have posted.

well said, dont forget, liar, cheater and criminal as well just as his coach that taught him so well to be a classless prick is,thats why they are a perfect couple, they are both classless pricks.

oh and for the cheatriot worshippers who refuse to look at their criminal acts, dont come on here with your usual BS flase claims that i hate them because they are so good and winners. That has NOTHING whatsoever to do with it.

I have always rooted against the cowturds to lose my whole life and for the other 31 teams to beat them each week-"other than the last 20 years when they played the Rams of course for one obvious reason."

I have never been able to stand the cowturds ever since i was a toddler but you know what? with THEM,i give them their due credit for winning those three superbowls in the early 90's under jimmy johnson because they EARNED their superbowl trophys unlike the cheats, they did not have the NFL in their pockets.so enough of this i hate patriots cause they are winners crap BS i hear all the time from the cheatriot apologists.

lol... criminal acts? did he kick a baby, or push down an old lady? he deflated footballs.... maybe, (I say maybe because it hasn't been proven) But even if he did... meh.

every team cheats.... patriots just are more successful in winning games, therefore, everyone wants to bring them down. "look at his dirty laundry, ignore my team's, though)

I love some football, it's more for the fact everyone around here cheers for football so passionately.... but the older I get, the less I want my kids to play it. It's the most dangerous sport ever after gladiators of rome who actually died.

    Concussions are major concerns

I watched a documentary on PBS a while ago about that, there is a new form of brain disease that comes from high impact injuries such as those sustained in NFL, can't remember what its called PJD or something, anyway they tested 47 ex NFL players and 46 of them had it.

They talked about changing the helmets etc but basically concluded they could only limit the impact so much, so the rules will have to change. A lot of people apparently now are not letting their kids play because of this, I meet a lot of Americans through work maybe 500 per year and many have said this to me already.

Obviously I joke a bit mocking your sports and prefer soccer, but soccer is actually number two for instances of this, probably from heading the ball, though it gets lighter and lighter all the time.

prowrestlers get it too.... I never can remember the acronym of it, but yes... it's very scary realizing how many kids in middleschool levels get concussions. Look up Chris Benoit if you aren't familiar with prowrestling stories.... he would do a "flying headbutt" and his brain, at 40, looked like it was an 80 yo with alzheimers they said.

Some theories suggest that as equipment improves, it makes players change how they hit, which, in turn, creates dangers that were never there before....

either way, this is going to be a huge battle for my family coming up very soon. My stepson is 9, he's a very strong 5'0 tall and 145 of very athletic kid. (not fat blubber, like he's a videogame player or anything, he's very active, and very good at all sports he's played thus far) Either way, his real father see's his son as a free meal ticket.... building him up to be the next Gronkowsky (superbowl winning offensive tight end for NE Pats) And while I agree that that would be a great spot for step son to focus on (and I've coached highschool football before), I'm more worried about my step-son's mental health than using him as a meal ticket. His father is an idiot that doesn't realize, the chances of making the NFL are smaller than getting struck by lightning.

This is what really kills father... I'm pushing band..... lol. There are two instruments that = full ride scholarships based on lack of competition. Oboe, and Bassoon. HOrrible instruments, I played them (briefly) and switched to the more popular saxophone where I have become very good at playing. But everyone plays sax... so scholarships are not available for that.

I look back and wished I had kept playing the Oboe or Bassoon because I wouldn't have racked up so much student loans.

Ultimate goal... I have to convince my step-son, that still loves his dad and wants to make him proud (he still can't see how big a D.A. his father truly is and his mother and I will never bad mouth him to the kiddo) that football is not a realistic option for either a scholarship, or a career.

Playing Oboe isn't a great career choice, either, but it pays for your education, and doesn't destroy your brain.

But I love watching me some college football because of the social factor involved in it.

My newborn son, will never play football. I suspect he will take after me and that means being 100# soaking wet, entering highschool, and being anorexic-type skinny for 90% of his life. Football was never an option for me because I was so small.

Its rough that you have to think about further education like that, here your first degree is free no matter what, and that's at very good universities, 5 of the world's top 200 in Scotland, more per head of population than any other country.

I think Oboe is the more sensible choice but you will have a tough time selling that to an image conscious teenager, as for sports golf is a great option but you have to be very good. I was offered a scholarship to the USA for soccer, the standard isn't that high it was quite easy, well 15 years ago anyway. You could look into that, there are slight issues with that too with heading the ball but not nearly to the same extent, and at 9 he is easily young enough to start that.

His Dad sounds like a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) but there's not much you can do about that really.

my wife's brother played at Georgia Tech with a soccer scholarship... and played internationally some (partying got him though)

another sport that is easy money is girl's wrestling around the states. Easy money for a girl that just got done wrestling for the boy's highschool team and didn't even have to be that good.

after last fall when we played football, we really want to keep kiddo active doing sports of some kind. Well, his father knows I'm a highschool wrestling coach/ref so he's been trying to undercut me and sell it as a gay sport. Whatever, I'm past that offending me. But in order to get him doing something other than wrestling in the winter last year, he signed son up for Baseball in February.... I hate baseball.... but kiddo wanted to play it, so we went, to every practice and game (dad didn't btw)

well season ended.... and kiddo LOVED it and asked to play fall ball (instead of football) so we did it again. Father was pppiiiissssed, because he wanted kiddo to play football.

So in protest, Father of the year (we call him FOTY for short), refused to come to any fall ball baseball game because "you should be playing football, not baseball"

you can't make this crap up, I swear.
