We have taken politicians to court and JAILED them for misuse of public funds.

He's just following the precedent set by Obama voters many of whom were talking about repealing which ever amendment it is that limits presidents to two terms so he could be president for life.

Actually, by that time I suspect most of them would have moved to Mexico if they could meet the strict Mexican immigration requirements. Representatives Steny Hoyer, D-Md and Jose Serrano D-NY introduced bills repeatedly to repeal the 22nd amendment six times between 1995 and 2005 and Serrano led five attempts between 2005 and 2013.

They have ceased trying to repeal the 22nd since trump was elected.
