“There's something about the attitude expressed by these reporters. They can't hide their contempt. They're sneering. Whether it's Jim Acosta at CNN or Weijia Jiang of CBS, they are more than hostile – they are rude, boorish and gauche. They are more than partisans; they represent the opposition, even the enemy.

But what do you see from Trump? You see kindness. You see politeness. You see the hope for second chances, redemption and grace.

Trump is often perceived as a bully by his critics. But that's not true. He's courteous, thoughtful, attentive, gentle and nice – even kind.”

Trump is a great American. He’s doing a great job leading our country. He has been nice while reporters have been mean spirited and hateful when they should have been asking about health or economic issues.

Trump puts America first. He’s a strong advocate for the American people and for our well being. He is forceful in defending the constitution and rule of law.

Clearly the thread title and OP is an attempt at an Onion like satire. I know I enjoyed a good laugh.

I have to admit that Trump doesn't seem to lose his temper or get mad at the stupid journalist questions or his critics. He just politely calls them names they deserve. I admire him for that.

Trump first, then his children and sycophants, then his donors, then maybe America, but don't count on it.

It's interesting to note that in the kind of country these "reporters" want they would be shot. When they finally get their socialist paradise they'll be the first to get a blindfold and a last cigarette. Let's stop calling these clowns reporters.

Because calling people names for asking a question is so polite and understanding, just ask China..

So, in Denmark, Sweden, Norway etc, they would be shot for asking a question? And the role of press, particularly Fox News, was NOT to hold Obama's feet to the fire? What garbage. Obama was coddled, you said, WANTING HIM GRILLED. Now, play nicey to Trumpy. What garbage.

So...stupid questions bad...name calling good. Are we really at the point where name calling like a junior high school kid is to be celebrated? Wow...we've really lowered the bar.
Every president has been asked stupid questions and have also had critics. That is nothing new.

Holy cow, I wish the Donald Trump described in the OP existed in real life instead of just in the narrative pushed by some of his supporters. THAT guy might not be so bad.

    But that guy doesn't exist.

    Wha??

“Politely calls them names they deserve???

Didn’t your Mommy tell you that calling people names is NEVER polite and that people do not EVER deserve to be “called names”

That behaviour is juvenile and uncalled for because it is unnecessary. There are better and more effective ways of dealing with critics than calling them names

I agree. Trump is unquestionably rude and combative. The difference is that I don't mind that. I concentrate on what he does. What he says and how he says it is fairly meaningless to me.

Question to Obama: Mr. Presiddent, how are you holding up as you lead the free world?
Question to Trump: Mr. Trump, do you admit you have made many mistakes while trying to lead the free world?
Question to Clinton: Mr. President, are you pleased with your great economic recovery?
Question to Bush: Mr. Bush, do you take any blame for 911?
Question to Reagan: Mr. Reagan, why are your cabinet appointees all millionaires?
Question to Carter: Mr. President, do you feel brave in trying to free the hostages?

So you need hundreds to thousands of people to equal the childishness of one Trump? Cool. I agree. Glad to hear you will be denouncing him any minute now.
