In a matter of two weeks, several things have occurred that will ultimately change the outcome of the 2020 election.

All of the top elite attorneys at the DOJ have resigned after their defeat over the citizenship question being added to the census. The DOJ and Trump (partners, ya know) have vowed to go back to a lower court with some new 'excuse' (as described by the SC) to add the census question. This time, it won't be argued by DOJ lawyers, it will be argued in a lower court with lawyers from the Commerce Department. This is the Justice Dept of the United States, not the Justice Dept of Donald Trump. He is torching the relationship of the Justice Dept with that of the Supreme Court. There can't be anything more corrosive to democracy than that.

The second reason that Trump won't be re-elected in 2020 is the news of Jeffrey Epstein. It's only been two days since the news broke and already there are rumors that Trump, although not directly implicated, has more or less condoned the criminal behavior of Jeffrey Epstein since evidently he was aware of his activities with underage girls. The tip of the iceberg just surfaced and within the weeks ahead, we're going to see a lot of high-profile politicians being brought into this mess.

The last thing is coal. Trump promised all the coal miners that he was going to bring back 'clean beautiful coal'. The miners cheered and voted for Trump -- believing him. In the past two weeks, three major coal mining operations in three states, Kentucky, Wyoming and W. Virginia, have filed for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11.

Trump promised to save the coal industry and pumped billions of federal dollars into them to do that. But no, those billions of US taxpayer $ went into someone else's pocket. The US promised more of our tax dollars to bail out 'Blackjewel', who owns two of the biggest coal mines in Kentucky and Wyoming, on the condition that their CEO resign. No doubt their CEO Jeff Hoops will resign with plenty of money stashed away. The company owes $60 million to the Interior Department and another $6 million to the Kentucky state treasurer. I seem to remember Trump saying he would "drain the swamp". Well, he drained the coal miners of their paychecks instead.

Yesterday, 800 coal miners in Wyoming didn't get their paychecks. BUT!, a federal judge approved an emergency $5 million in emergency funds to Blackjewel. Let's all collectively cry about 'entitlements' now.

If Trump supporters can get their noses out of Fox New at least for 30 minutes every day, then go back to it, they might hear what's really going on. More Trump supporters have heard that Joe Biden likes to 'fondle' the hair of little girls, but according to surveys, the majority of them have no idea that Trump bragged about "grabbing women by the *****".

LOL, I love the false narratives. First, the lawyers were replace, they did not resign. Second, the media suddenly after a decade of ignoring the democrat donor Epstein are interested in Epstein because Trump once said something nice about him. Ignore the fact that the Pandora's box has been opened and many powerful democrats are now at risk of exposure. Trump was interviewed and warned that Clinton has a problem with Orgy Island and the Lolita Express. It was an open 'secret' that everyone knew about but democrat operatives and media suppressed. Trump banned Epstein from Mar A Lago for hitting on an underaged girl.

Trump's opposition is addicted to Fake News. An addiction that is about to cost them another election.

William Barr is the head of the DOJ and William Barr is rotten to the core. No AG in US history has done what Barr has done. Hes not the US Attny General, he's Trump's Roy Cohn. No doubt about it.

His press conference before the Mueller report was made public was nothing more than a whitewash for Trump. He provided a perfect sound bite to play on loop on cable news in the Trump's favorite phrasing - "no collusion, no obstruction". At the end of Barr's news conference, when a reporter asked if it was improper for the attorney general to spin the report to the public before it was released, Barr literally walked off the stage. He knew full well what he had just done. But William Barr had auditioned for the job of AG by sending Trump a lengthy letter saying he thought the Mueller investigation was 'illegal' and etc. That's all he needed to do to get his appointment as AG and do the job that Jeff Sessions refused to do for Trump. He is someone who is an agent of the Trump administration, not a steward of justice for the people of the US as he should be. He is a political appointee of Trump and it's Trump whose interests he's protecting here.

Just last week, William Barr's Justice Dept upheld Jeffrey Epstein's secret wrist-slap 2007 Florida plea deal, engineered by Trump cabinet member Alex Acosta. That's not even simply 'fish rotting from the head down', that is simply an evil, disgusting, thing to do, to support a serial sex offender -- and all because Epstein is a friend of Trump. AND, if Trump ever tries to pardon this son-of-a-bitch in the future, trust me -- people are not going to stand by and accept it. Both William Barr and Donald Trump will face justice at the polls.

One more thing to add, William Barr is challenging the Supreme Court's decision, for Trump of course, to add the citizenship question on the US census despite the fact that the top DoJ attorneys have resigned over this issue. He will pursue it in a lower court with Dept of Commerce lawyers, not DoJ lawyers. That's not only lowdown, it borders on subversion of US law and undermines democracy.

Your refusal to accept reality is noted. That reality is.........the singular reason Don's approval rating is not 25% is his devoted followers hold him accountable for nothing. In a typical week there are 5 things that happen which would politically end any other prez who ever served. You folks give the nitwit a pass on it all.

As it should the question has been on the census repeatedly over the years. Pretending otherwise is just silly.

No, you're just speaking words without any documentation to back it up. You're Fox's echo-chamber, nothing more.

So.....as I suspected.......no issue with the admin lying about why they made adding the question a priority? No issue with shifting the June 30 deadline they said was essential? No issue with Billy the Bagman trying to circumvent the SC decision calling the rational for the question "contrived?" No issue with the lawyers working on the case for admin withdrawing and being replaced by a new team because of the prior team's disgust?

It's not a secret that Ross lied to Congress.

"A former top adviser to Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross confirmed the secretary lied about his intentions for adding a citizenship question to the 2020 census, according to House testimony made public on Tuesday."
    https://thinkprogress.org/new-house...ins-census-citizenship-question-3159758b531c/

"The Trump administration’s plan to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census—which it estimated would decrease Hispanic participation in the census by five percent—has been temporarily shelved by the Supreme Courtin a 5-4 decision.

    The reason? The administration lied."

Despite Iran's recent provocations, Trump has done nothing except issue some empty threats and his war hawks (Pompeo and Bolton) are mute.

I have been asked several times, regarding the Iranian crisis, what would you have Trump do?

My answer: I haven't the slightest idea.

We have never had a President who withdraws the United States from an agreement that is working, then punishes the adversary with economic sanctions because he withdrew our country from the agreement. The adversary, Iran, was in compliance with the agreement when Trump withdrew.

Now Iran is duplicating Trump's decision. She is violating the provisions of the deal. In addition, she has threaten oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and shot down a very sophisticated American surveillance aircraft. Trump has done virtually nothing, and he and his staff say very little. What they do say makes little sense because Trump's decision is the root of the problem.

So, what does he do now? I have no idea. Our allies and Iran are still part of the agreement. Maybe they can do something.

In the meantime, it is the U.S. vs. Iran vs. our allies vs. the U.S. Thanks a heap, Mr. President.

As time goes on Trump is getting worse.

Trump continued his fight with America's strongest, longest, and most reliable ally. "The wacky Ambassador that the U.K. foisted upon the United States is not someone we are thrilled with, a very stupid guy. I told @theresa_may how to do that deal, but she went her own foolish way-was unable to get it done. A disaster!. I don't know the Ambassador but have been told he is a pompous fool," Trump tweeted.

Trump wants to deny 20 million Americans of health coverage, including those with preexisting conditions. A panel of federal appeals court judges on Tuesday sounded likely to uphold a lower-court ruling that a central provision of the Affordable Care Act — the requirement that most people have health insurance — is unconstitutional.

Neither Trump nor the Republican Party have a plan to replace the ACA, or Obamacare.

Trump has placed his DOJ in an impossible position. First of all, the DOJ and the current Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur Ross, had already signed off on the citizenship question on the census and began printing the forms without the question pursuant to a Supreme Court decision on the issue. This changed with a Trump tweet, then Trump decided he wanted to change lawyers within the Justice Department.

The courts shot Trump down again. A federal judge in New York has denied a request by the Trump administration to replace its legal team in a lawsuit challenging the addition of a citizenship question to the 2020 census.

U.S. District Judge Jesse Furman called "patently deficient" the Department of Justice's effort to change out the lawyers, who have been working on the case for more than a year.

    https://www.npr.org/2019/07/07/7393...-team-behind-census-citizenship-question-case

The DOJ legal team is forced to say that everything they have said so far is in error -- including the July 1st deadline -- and they still must come up with a legitimate reason, not a political reason, for the question to be included on the census.

Judges don't like it when lawyers change their tune after the dance is over.

And the dance is over. Trump just doesn't know it.

Funny nobody said that about Barr until he stood up for the rule of law against the Deep State soft coup attempt, which was really an attempt to disenfranchise 63,000,000 Americans who voted for Trump.

The LW went off the deep end on Barr when he uttered the phrase 'political spying', of which we will be finding out a lot more. It will be coming out drip by drip between now and 11/20.

Yet the LW wants to trash our relationship with Israel, another longstanding reliable ally, and the only spot of freedom in the ME.

It is none of any court's business if they think a reason is 'legitimate' or not, Trump has the power to do that.
