    Really? It was the independents who put Trump in office, how exactly have they come to hate him? Why will the Senate majority disappear next year? Do you REALLY want to rig the supreme court in such a naked power grab? This sounds like your wish list, not a cogent argument.

    But then you used the term 'thinking Americans'? So everyone who disagrees with you doesn't think? And you wonder why the 'deplorables' you sneer at elected Trump?

    Actually it's quite the reverse, people are living longer and longer and tend to get more conservative with age, folks are having fewer kids so the demographics favour the GOP

    Unless there is severe economic downturn, the presumption here should be a relatively easy re-election. There has only been two one term presidents in the last 40 years. Its more about economic health than anything. Those hoping to unseat Trump are hoping for economic disaster. What sort of Americans does that make them?

    Pubs are running on hurting the environment, breaking decades-old alliances, corporate welfare, tax cuts for the rich

    Trumpers shout down all those who disagree. Yes, they act like deplorables. They support the GOP overriding of the Governor's veto after the lege GOP caucus said it would not hold such a vote: that's deplorable.

    The MSM was right about the PV being overwhelmingly anti-Trump: more than 14 MILLION MORE voted against Trump than for him.

    It will be 20 MILLION MORE next year.
