President Pence would be better for them.

What about Tulsi Gabbard? Does she come across as a charismatic leader? She is a Major in the National Guard, served two combat tours of duty, wants to stop all wasteful wars, wants to stop killing people through sanctions, wants to save trillions of dollars to support social reforms, wants to end the new nuclear arms race, wants to get money out of politics and stop the "revolving door". She is the most feared, attacked, misrepresented, slandered, and smeared candidate, by corporate America, since she announced she was running. Yet she clearly won both her debates. She was also the most googled searched candidate of all the candidates. She destroyed two candidates and their campaigns, by exposing to the public, their true nature. For the last 9 months, this is how mainstream media(and TYT) use disinformation to smear, discredit, and demonize her campaign. Or, attack her family and her religion.

If you don't care that money is influencing the process of which candidates we are allowed to select, then we do not live in a democratic republic. We are controlled by Plutocrats and Oligarchs. If you don't care, then don't expect any social change. There will be a steady increase in our poor, our sick, our homeless, our jobless, and our unskilled and uneducated citizens, until we can no longer ignore them. I suppose as long as the Military Industrial Complex, the Fossil Fuel Industry, Big Tech, Big Agra, Big Pharma, Wall Street, and Corporate America, continue to get richer off 90% of its citizens, who cares?. I suppose all that matters, is why Donald Trump will win the 2020 election. And, four more years of the last 60 years to keep complaining.

With this level of political ignorance, we truly deserve the Government we choose.

The media has ignored him, preserving his image. While not outside Trump's schemes, he hasn't gotten tangled up in the major legal battles. He'd have a year to campaign, unsullied by a primary while his opponent will have to retool their entire strategy as they'd have been expecting to run against Trump. As he'd come to power after the Midterms (assuming a 2020 victory), he'd be eligible to run in 2024 giving the Repubs a 9 year president. He agrees with most of what Trump is doing but is objectively more intelligent meaning they can build on what Trump has done and get even more. The Repubs will still hold the Senate so even if the House immediately impeaches Pence, they can just acquit and spin it as the Dems attempting a coup (as his removal immediately after Trump would put Pelosi in charge) helping them win votes in 2020 if that argument sticks.

If the Repubs can avoid holding a conviction vote until after the Primaries (otherwise 1 of his Primary challengers takes over the 2020 ticket and Pence is just a 1 year lame duck), it'll be in their interest to remove Trump. Even more so than it's in the Dem's interest honestly.
