So "Americas Dad" is in the big house and will be there for years to come.
Do you think he will survive this?

Hopefully yes. To the OP question, not to the post above this one.

At 81? He probably wouldn't survive 4 years at home. :)

I hope he will live long enough to make it back home. I also hope his life will be a lesson to other young men about how NOT to treat women.

His sense of humor will help him to survive........
His turning to Jesus in heartfelt repentance so that he can at least fit in with one group there would be a potentially wise option for him as well.......

I hope somebody gives him My Descent Into Death by former Atheist Howard Storm Ph. D......
    that could inspire him......

His conviction will be overturned on appeal. There is just too much wrong with it for it to stand

All he needs to do is to declare himself a Republican and endorse Trump which will insure that he gets an immediate pardon and/or a reversal of conviction on appeal.

Works like magic all the time.

He'll serve approximately one year (and one day) in a "country club" prison. Then he'll be out on a gentle parole. That's the kind of "punishment" that you get when you're a famous Black celebrity.

For pulling that kind of despicable crap on all those women, anybody else (especially some nasty, old, unknown White guy) would be moldering in a hard-time prison for the maximum amount of time possible....

He will not be eligible for parole for three years. After that, his parole will depend on him taking responsibility for his actions and participating in sexual abuse therapy sessions in prison. If he continues to deny guilt, unless his case is overturned on appeal, he could end up doing 10 years.

Yeah, uh-huh... we'll see.... We'll have a better 'feel' for how severe his 'slap-on-the-wrist' punishment will be AFTER we find out which country club -- oops, I mean "prison" he'll be sent to....

Or stop calling out the negatives of the black culture fostered by democrats. It kept Bill Clinton out of jail.

He is going to a place called Phoenix which is a level 3 prison in Collegeville Pa. right near Valley Forge. Same place you or I would go if we were convicted of a similar crime in Montgomery County Pa. He does not appear to be receiving any preferential treatment as of yet. Of course, his lawyers are no doubt working feverishly to get the conviction overturned on appeal, but it is a bit of a long shot and it could take years. His legal team will probably try to get a hearing to determine if he will be able to be released on bail pending the appeals process. Evidently, he still has a bunch of money so he will no doubt have the best legal representation available. Cheers

I can't disagree with you. I've said for years that here in the United States we have the finest system of justice that money can buy....

The judge deliberately did not allow him bail.

However, other judges can change that.

The g99d thing in this case is that even with all his money and his team of lawyers, his ass is in jail right now. People are starting to open up their eyes at least a little bit. Weinstein might be heading for Attica or San Quentin pretty soon to. And Trump and his brat kids might be heading there too on New York State charges for his fraudulent charity foundation. Nobody is above the law here.

It was reported Cosby's first day in the joint he was assaulted by a stale hot dog bun.

I'm predicting that Bill Cosby will quickly be converting to becoming a Muslim in prison and joining on of the black prison gangs.

He can't be paroled before 3 years, however I think he will go to house arrest (in a mansion more opulent than any of us will ever likely see) just for his age and health fairly soon. He's been totally disgraced from a very high position for doing stuff I'm quite sure many others did back then and none of them will have any problems, I can't see what seems this frenzy to kill what now seems a pitiable old man

You are very likely correct, Aleks. I hadn't thought about the idea that they'd simply let him stay at home in one of his mansions, under "house arrest".

But I don't see him as 'pitiable'. No... because I remember so well how he vaulted upward into 'fame-and-fortune' by giving wanna-be liberal, White America something new back in the 1960's -- a Black 'super-spy for the government' on the TV series, "I Spy".

Cosby loved all the fawning and adulation that was heaped on him because he played the part of a Black TV actor who could actually 'walk and chew gum' at the same time. The whole 'spy thing' was big back then, and obviously, Cosby loved being a celebrity a lot, but, ended up loving it all to death!

And his punishment for all his subsequent, abusive excesses? A light sentence which will never be fully served.... An 'uncelebrated' White man who did what Cosby had done would rot in a hard-time prison for the rest of his life. So much for American justice.

That's why, Aleksander, "many others" can't serve on SCOTUS, in part.
