For me the answer is 'probably' as long as the economy holds firm. None of the scandals that threatened to depose him seem to be getting anywhere, his popularity has actually risen slightly but more than anything else I think the DNC has yet to find a viable challenger to him who would be able to win back the floating middle/blue collar voters. It rather seems that they're drifting towards the left and threatening a rerun of McGovern/Mondale, someone they like but doesn't have a hope in hell.

    I too voted Probably.

When the Presidents approval ratings are placed against the unprecedented never ending attacks by the left and the majority of their partners in the MSM, it's not difficult to see that President Trump will probably be reelected.

I can't imagine a less effective campaign than the "get Trump" effort that has been underway for 3 years. If you were to put a dollar figure on the value of the time and effort invested to destroy the President, it would be in the $10's of billions. Yet...….

That's what leads me to my conclusion.

At this time.....more than likely/Probably. The Demos showing their Socialism, AOC, the Anti Semite, their Hamas supporter. Pimping out their Ghouls, and the lets see how many Clowns we can get into the Clown Car. Is giving him the advantage.

Throw in their wasting time with investigations. Their Mueller Russian Collusion coming out as a bust and their Resistance with the Lame Stream doing all they can to help the Demos and tearing Trump down. Then the TDS from Cult Leftness. He is out in front by a lap.

if trump seeks re-election, he'll more than likely get the second term, mainly from these points i mentioned in another thread:

In a nutshell, there's no one capable to rival Trump.

Once he's gone (probably 6 years time), the wet flannels that are left can then fight it out.

    People will vote their wallets.

And Trump has fattened employment and earnings.

But, I could be wrong as I was about the Democrats winning the House.

I was sure the Kavenaugh hearings would have turned enough voters against the Democratic Party.

I voted "probably not". Trump's done a number of things right -- especially with regard to the Supreme Court and the makeup of the Federal Judiciary. But he's made some crucial errors, too, and he's been poorly supported by RINO's in his own Republican Party... and, of course, the Democrats hate his guts in ways that verge on being unreasoningly rabid!

But this border security issue is one that radical Democrats have worked cleverly to exploit, joined by "migrant advocacy" groups like the ACLU and others, inside and outside the ranks of Federal Judges. That, plus this more and more obvious Democrat-engineered political assassination ploy that gave us the "Mueller Investigation", further empowers the paralyzing inertia forces that make it virtually impossible for Trump continue to do anything of value and merit....

Trump's intelligent, with a quick, mercurial mind, but he's very abrupt and changeable, and he simply has not understood that when you are herding dinosaurs, you have to take special care to make sure that they don't trample you or eat you.

Bottom line -- the 'Baby-Boomer' die-off continues, and, in larger numbers, Millenials will pour out to vote for whichever Democrat promises them the most 'free stuff' in 2020. The borders will become WIDE open again, three-quarters of the population will regularly be drawing handout welfare and "subsidies" of one kind or another, and the United States will find itself increasingly hemmed-into a corner, while Russia and China become ever more and more powerful throughout the world.

I also voted "Probably not". Trump is guy who like brag about everything, he's doing that non-stop and also lying every time when he open he's mouth. I'm pretty sure Trump isn't smart person, but trumptards don't care things like that. My guess is that Trump's fear-based talk is all what he got for 2020 and it's not good strategy anymore. Tax cut was bad too for common people - talking about draining swamp and same time stregthening plutocracy is bad move too. Trump isn't healthy option for America. I really hope Trump isn't re-elected 2020.

The man I wanted for president in 2016 was Rick Perry, the former Governor of Texas, so, Donald Trump never really was "my guy". But I was delighted to take Trump over a corrupt, ignorant, reckless, and STOOPID person like Hillary Clinton. Unfortunately, Rick's campaign was wrecked early in the season by a completely fraudulent lawsuit brought against him by liberal Democrats in Texas, just to ruin his presidential efforts. This despicable, false lawsuit was thrown out of court in February 2016, but by then Rick Perry had no chance. Too bad... he could have made a truly great president -- all the way around.

Looking forward toward 2020, though, if the Democrats offer candidates as really horrible as the assortment that appears to be coming from among them now, there is no doubt in my mind that, even though I don't care for his "style", and even though Trump never went to 'charm school', I'll vote for him again in 2020 -- if he runs again....

But remember one thing -- although Trump is not at all 'diplomatic', I'd never say the man "isn't smart person". He took about $120 million dollars that his Father gave him and made a fortune of it that Forbes estimates to be $3.1 billion dollars (as of today, Feb. 17, 2019). You don't increase wealth on THAT kind of scale by being stupid.... 8)

To defeat Trump, all the Democrats need to do is promise to give away "free stuff" to everybody who wants government welfare programs on an unending basis. In this way, they'll simply buy enough votes to win any election. Democrats have been doing this since the 1930's in this country, but the practice became spectacularly successful with Barack Obama....

I said it's too early to tell. Mueller report will be the key. I'm about 99% sure Mueller will not reccomend charges against Trump, but it comes down to how it's written. If it's like Comey's statement about Clinton, where he details 100 crimes, then says he wouldn't reccomend charges I dont think he wins. If he just comes out and says theres no evidence I think Trump wins.

The Democrat challengers are mostly pointless unless they do something along the way to completely derail their own campaign.

I think Trump's only hope if he does run in 2020 is that the democrats nominate another Hillary Type candidate or some far left wacko. A decent candidate from the democrats would swamp Trump, but they blew it in 2016, who's to say the democrats won't blow it again in 2020?

He is being handicapped in running again by having most of his first election team in prison for up to forty years in one case.

In post #6 I say that trump will not be representing the Republican party in the 2020 election.
In post #14 you ask who will be.
In post #15 I answered Mike Pence
In post #16 it looks like you lost it.
