Trump will have to resign in order to have his VP pardon himself like Nixon's VP did him... my guess is he does that after he loses in 2020, but before the new Dem President replaces him

And your strong background in law enforcement and the law itself gave you this insight, or did you just read Breitbart?

    Umm, no.

The Watergate investigation took at least 2 years, and that was a great deal less complicated.

There are no "findings" from the Senate Intelligence Committee; and what "leaks" are you even referring to?

"Democrat-engineered political assassination ploy that gave us the "Mueller Investigation""

Trump engineered that himself when he fired Comey over that "Russia thing"

. "Those stupid Americans are destroying themselves -- so, LET THEM!"

I do agree, other Countries are thinking exactly that, they love that we got stuck with a President like Trump

It isn't Trump. It's the reaction to Trump's presidency that is tearing us apart.

Truth? The Hillary campaign deliberately sought out and bought the "Steele Dossier", which they got their friends in the FBI and Justice Department to use to get the Mueller investigation going in the first place!

More truth? Trump should have fired Comey within an hour of taking the Oath of Office. Now it has come out that even Andrew McCabe has slammed the 'dynamic-duo' of Comey and Atty. Gen. Loretta Lynch for their handling (complete MIS-handling) of the whole issue of lawbreaking by Hillary Clinton in regard to national security LAWS and classified information:

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/mc...ton-probe-should-have-gone-to-special-counsel

Lynch was, of course, pushed out the door when the Trump Admn. took over on Inauguration Day, but Comey's job was one that had to be terminated. For reasons that never made any sense to me, Trump waited until May 9, 2017 to finally get rid of James Comey....

No, I guess that's just my wish. There is a bet I'll make. If (big if) he does run in 2020 for re-election he won't make it. I'd bet the price of a nice steak dinner ($50.00).

For me right now the democrats don't offer any alternatives to help the working man in this country. All they have is hate and that isn't going to win an election.

The only thing I really disagree with Trump on is the tax bill, because I feel he didn't close the loopholes like he promised in the campaign like the carried interest loophole. I hope he takes another look at the tax bill again and gets rid of the wasteful deductions.

BS , democrats never really gave him a chance when he was first inaugurated. They plotted to obstruct him from the beginning.

Do you think he fooled his supporters on the campaign trail about his tax plans?

There hasn't been a day since the campaign trail that he hasn't fooled them.

Actually Gerald Ford was Speaker of the House, Spiro Agnew was VP but was under indictment for corruption at the time. Again, for what? What are you so sure he's guilty off?

You really felt the need to answer me twice? Actually Watergate was much tougher, remember they were going after a bunch of ex-CIA types who had cut their teeth against the KGB, Trumps cronies were all bumblers.

I am pretty sure Trump will resign at some point and Pence will be President for a short time so that he can Pardon Trump

if he is guilty of crimes, he woudl resign for the Pardon, same as Nixon did - could also be money launder or tax evasion in there, who knows
