I don't think there's enough popcorn in the country for that event.

    ...or champagne, either.

Hmm... I do happen to have one bottle of 1969 Dom Perignon left in the cellar. Similar bottles are advertised on the 'net ranging from USD $430 - $806. Should I open it if she either:
    (a) croaks
    (b) comes to what's left of her senses and simply leaves...? :alcoholic:

i'd love to see her leave, if but for one reason... trump gets another pic and the 'otherside' goes insanerer (not a word but it fits them)... that said, why isn't the scotus like all courts where we have 12 jurors and requires a unanimous ruling/decision... lets, either, knock it down to 8 or raise it to 10, no abstaining allowed...

We do agree that Ruthie is WAY past the time where she should have been "put out to pasture". Hint: In Germany, for instance, ALL of their federal judges are required to retire at age 65).

But, I'm allergic to the idea of "packing the court" with more Justices. Why? It's too easy for tyrannical despots to "pack the court". The great liberal Democrat demi-god, Frankie Roosevelt tried this ploy back in the 1930's. But, FDR's attempt to subvert this Branch of the Government through his "Judicial Procedures Reform Bill of 1937" could not be rammed through Congress. It failed. We were lucky.

But with Democrats back in power in our time today (or soon)...? I wouldn't put any rotten, unconstitutional thing past a Congress run by today's Democrat Party....

Interesting question because I seen a picture of the new court and it looked like Ginsberg was already dead. I thought the court was doing a spoof on "Bernie".

I think she wii most likely resign. At her age, she has two likely problems that will hit her in the near future. She looks really frail physically and if that doesn't stop her, most likely memory issues will. In that area she seems off as well. For example, I think she would have known in younger years to mask her bias which seems to be slipping now.

The end may be closer than we thought. She took a tumble today, cracking three ribs.

If her poor, old, withered, worn-out body collapses, her liberal Democrat sympathizers will simply have her brain put into a life-support system, and she'll go right on functioning as a "Justice" . They'll NEVER let her go as long as Donald Trump is in the White House....

At least it wasn't a hip. When the hip goes, they've usually got less than a year remaining. But I hope she's okay. I don't like to see anyone suffer.

No, unless she dies, she will hang on until there is a democratic president elected and that president assumes office. There's no way as long as Ginsberg is above ground she would let Trump appoint another SCOTUS justice.
