I don't need to pretend anything.

I leave the pursuit of that virtue to your quest for perfection in it.

I note several instances of the stark divergence of Trumpery from traditional, conservative Republican values.

    Hardcore Trumpers embrace the disparity.

The creation of fiction allows every author to conceive whatever reality they wish to elucidate.

The pretense that empirical, documented reality is fictive requires credible documentation.

The idea that fiction is empirical, documented reality, likely would dissuade even the most adventurous from acquiescing to such a infertile demand.

Natty Bumpo scourges his foes with an empirical reality that dispels Trumper fictive nonsense.

You are clearly incapable of refuting the facts I have noted.

You would fare better in pleasuring yourself in the current plight of Republicans, their displacement by the RINOs of Trumpery.

Trump's fakery presages his ignominious pratfall. The neo-nazis and white supremacists who hail him as their "Glorious Leader!" and "Emperor God!" will go down with him.

Republicans will take back their Party from the RINOs of Trumpery.

Rejecting "Trumpery" should not be too difficult now that all have been able to observe his plans in action.
This article is a couple years old but still seems relevant.

The Republican Party has been a collection of nuts for decades. What needs to stop is pretending Trump has made the party nuts. While Trump may accentuate their nuttery he hasn’t created it.

Conservatives aren't independent thinkers. We're people who have been around the block a few times, and our life experience determines our values.

We depend on the real world, so we aren't independent.

Trump's fans simply won't deal with these two issues. They have given up.

If the President can't get his way -- funding from Congress -- can the President simply declare a national emergency to get that funding? Congress appropriates funds. Congress denied Trump his funds. Can the President challenge the Separation of Powers principle of our Constitution? Do even Republicans want Trump to establish a horrible precedent? Picture President Ocassio-Cortez declaring a national emergency and issuing an E.O. stating that all guns are illegal and banning the NRA.

Trump's fans and Republican leaders in Congress can't get it in their heads that Trump's wall and his immigration issues are a losing proposition. That is all Trump talked about at rallies leading up to the 2018 elections. The GOP lost 40 seats and control of the House. Despite a 26 to 9 advantage, they barely hung onto the Senate. They lost several state houses and state legislatures.

They know in their hearts Trump is a loser.

We had two choices. Back hillary or back trump. It was a real easy decision given those two choices. Plus, Trump was woofing everything we cared about.

The only problem is that he's now backed down on the budget twice. Twice he's admitted that he signed a budget that he didn't like. The first time, he said he wouldn't do it again, and yet he did it again.

To hell with Trump! He just doesn't have the spine necessary for the job. The only problem is that I just know the democrats are going to throw me another candidate who is even worse than Trump, and it will be a decision between who is the lesser of two evils.

That doesn't win general elections. Sooner or later GOP leaders need to figure that out.

Yes, there is. It is called the Elections of 2018. They were a referendum on Trump, according to Trump.

The GOP lost 40 seats and leadership of the House. Despite having a 26 to 9 advantage, they nearly lost the Senate. They lost several state houses and state legislatures.

He is the least popular President in modern American history. Currently he is in a Constitutional crisis that is creating chaos within his own party. A Democratic resolution from the House to terminate Trump's imaginary national emergency is likely to pass in the GOP-controlled Senate. In supporting Trump, Republicans in Congress must agree to weaken a fundamental power of Congress -- control of the purse strings of our government. Senator Graham doesn't dare comment on that aspect of his support for Trump on this issue.

Currently, the Trump government is in chaos and he can't keep the help and he can't find good help.

I would say that is a good reason to dump Trump.

You mean midterm elections that almost always go against the grain and were worse for Obama? Obama was at 40% popularity before his second election.

The House legislation may barely pass the Senate but will not have enough support to overrule a veto.
