On the one hand he is now acting very presidential whilst Joe Biden seems to be pretty much hiding in a cave somewhere. On the other hand he was always a candidate that depended on big rallies and they're out of the question at the moment? Also the economy was always going to downturn at some stage, will people blame Trump or will they say it's not his fault because it was caused by forces beyond his control?

i doubt it will have any effect whatsoever. the never-trumpers will say he is failing, no matter what he does, and to claim that anyone who sees any of his actions in a positive light is a brainwashed trump fanatic. the media will continue to play the role of the democrats' attack dog, displaying his every move in the worst possible light. the entrenched bureaucrats will continue to use anything they can to protect their fiefdoms and their followers will trail dutifully along behind them. the ignorant masses, at least those who aren't already in one camp or the other, will continue to be confused by the bias, propaganda and partisan rhetoric. the wuhan flu will simply add more fuel to the already existing fire.

    Presidential?
His administration just voided many environmental regulations, he is having open fights with the governor’s of states (one just said his proposal would be the Federal Government declaring war on the states), he is already saying he will ignore the checks and balances in the $2T emergency bill, he is attacking reporters for asking questions and is bragging his viewership numbers are better than the bachelor but it doesn’t click that it is because people are looking to leadership to do something. The debt has been ignored during his entire watch to prop up his failed ideology and now it is about to explode.

He has gone from this is minor — to — if only 100,000 people die he will have done a good job...

Is this really the bar we have set for “very presidential”

    Jesus this country is ****ed.

If he is perceived similar to Gov Cuomo, it will help him.

If he is perceived like himself in February and most of March, it will hurt him.

As of now, he's taking the virus seriously. If he continues to do so and stops the blame game, finger pointing, and little child whining, it will definitely help him.
Like Hurricane Sandy did for Obama.
Or Katrina was a black eye for Bush.

I think when checks start going out incumbents popularity will rise regardless of their red or blue status.. i think Trump will be narrowly be reelected and little in congress will change.. i suggest everyone save their fighting for the midterms.
