no......I said all the people that try to mis-quote what Peter Schiff says.....he usually ball parks and only occassionally puts a date to it and he always says its just a guess on his part but of course the ignoramuses jump at the chance to try to discredit him :)

I am quite surprised actually that QE 3 has still not been announced. But interest rates are still not rising so its very possible that Bernacke and the fed are in there anyways quietly buying treasuries!

Well, we are now doing QE 2.1 and 2.2 then , 2......... before we actually get number three announced.

Most probaly another round will come, judging from this obscene high level of persistent unemployment.

People are not unemployed anymore. About 5 percent of the country has full time jobs as protesters of Wall Street.

Whilst you're correct in highlighting the usefulness of their use of time, you're confusing the employment decision with the hours decision; the latter showing how individual choice can have positive spillovers

Not really. Not if people are camping there 24/7. Well at least on the weekdays.

You should try consistency in your comments, even when attempting flippancy

I don't see the inconsistency. Maybe I should have cut out the portion I was referring to.

    Next time.

The question --- with respect --- is as redundant as wondering whether the sun will rise tomorrow. imo .
We -- the British -- had our own little QE for £75 billion , announced a few weeks ago .
None of it has gone on growth stimuli .
I bet my life it is being kept in the cupboard , ready ( even fait accompli) to recapitalise UK banks once the Italian Job backfires and French Banks start to feel the heat .
And don't forget that the Spanish debacle ---to be lived through in the New Year --- is essentially a Banking fiasco .
Ironically , the US needs QE3 , if only to allow the Fed to prop up your fast sinking Banks plus key selected European banks .

like I have always said......no QE 3 means a spectacular collapse even worse than in 2008.....the only question is when!

Step one completed -- the Super Committee confirmed they were a bunch of Wankers --- and I am so cynical that I believe that was pre-arranged .
Now they re all huddled round Ben's big table trying to work out how much they need to print and the optimum political moment for releasing the news .
Question : how long do we need before economic growth shoots show before election day ?
Question: We need a minimum $10 trillion , so how do we hoodwink them into accepting such a figure without realising it ?

Stagflation would be the absolute axe coming down on Mr. Obamas scrawny neck, attached to his thick head.

Ben is pretty much going to have to do the QE3, but all the ducks are in a row for stagflation...and Ben hesitates, and hesitates, and hesitates..cuz if he doesn't do it just right, good night Barry and goodbye for gods knows how many generations, Dems.

Moodys now saying watch for Jan 2012 possibly, and France in recession before the US.
