First I’ll apologize for screwing up your poll, I’m not an R, I’m an Independent.

In your poll I voted for Rick Perry, mostly to be sarcastic. He’s nearly as arrogant, simple-minded, and worthless as trump.

To tell the truth, both parties should have put all of their candidates on one garbage scow, taken them out to sea, and dumped the entire load of them.

We keep getting screwed by the two-party system.

I wouldn't vote for any of them, but without Trump, Rand Paul is the most logical lightening rod for the voices of dissent.

Ted Cruz was funded by the hedge fund lobby, and once Trump became the nominee, the hedge fun money shifted to Hillary

    Close enough.

I didn't nominate anyone, but yeah, last thing this country will ever need is bother Bush, or Clinton.

THis election was about bucking the establishment. That says to me it would have been Rand Paul or Cruz. Since Paul does not immediately make some one want to punch him in the face I chose him over Cruz. I dont know what it is but Cruz just does not come across as trustworthy. I always feel like he is trying to get something over on us when he speak. Now as to the mans politics I can get behind a lot of them and I did vote for him over Trump since Paul had dropped by the time I had a chance. But man Cruz is just creepy.

Given his achievements, I'd say that doesn't matter. However I realize credentialing means a great deal to some folks.

I would have gone with Cruz but would have gone to the polls being very disturbed that under the intent of the Constitution, Ted Cruz isn't a natural born citizen.

If the RNC were just half as corrupt as the DNC, Jeb Bush would have gotten the nomination.

Cruz and Jeb would have beaten Hillary.

The DNC a would have still been hacked and the response of the left would have still been the same if Crooked Hillary were defeated, tens of millions of liberal loons and snowflakes having to seek professional therapy and Play Dough. Sedition on the streets, obstructionism in Congress and "it was the Russians" !!! CNN and MSNBC would be spending 97% of their time attacking who ever the Republican President was. And the Wa-po and the N.Y. Times publishing fake news using unnamed anonymous sources.

Witch hunts being conducted looking for crimes and claims that either Cruz or Jeb were in direct collusion with Putin.

That's what you can expect from now on any time a Democrat is defeated during a Presidential election.

The Democrat Party has become so corrupt and has abandoned the white working middle class and has moved so far to the left, probably any of the GOP candidates would have defeated Crooked Hillary.

I would say Trump was the best chance for Hilary to win. The fact that she bungled the opportunity is very revealing.

    Cruz gives me acid stomach.

I really think Paul would be a great POTUS.

I have to learn more about Rand Paul and his philosophy. I've heard a few things I like about him, recently.

But I agree about Cruz. He looks like a creepy cartoon character, in a suit. Doesn't his face look as if someone drew it crooked, or ****-eyed.

    HA!

Rand's a great guy. Just like Ron.

It's their caucusing with R's that turns some supporters off when it comes to the Presidency.

My original prediction was the GOP nominee was going to be either Jeb Bush or Scott Walker.

I still believe that had Trump not race baited his way to the nomination and then presidency, Jeb, Walker, or even Rubio would have gotten the nomination.

Bush wining, would have been just ass bad as Killary winning.
Paul would have been the only one I could vote for without having to hold my nose.

I didn't see my answer in the poll: "Whomever the DNC and the MSM colluded to nominate as their preferred opponent to HRC."
