see something, say something, it's what your supposed to do, we have the same thing where I work, swipe a badge, if someone tries to sneak in without swiping... were supposed to report it if they wont swipe - it leaves a record of who is coming and going, it's a security measure

the condo tenets all knew this security system was there when they bought the condo's, so no one should of been surprised

someday we will probably all need chips to keep people from having to confront people like this

sad that she moved into a condo with a security system to keep her safe and reporting someone trying to bypass the system cost her her job and will probably effect her for the rest of her life

race should not really even come into this.... he bypassed the security system and she asked him to show he lived there - once she knew who he was, the next time would be no issue

 

and that I agree is where she should of let this drop, he should of showed her his security dongle, and she should of let it drop with he had a key to his condo's front door

regardless this escalated to an insane level with her being fired over it, no reason for it to escalated to that point
