Randy Weaver got it off easy with only an 18 month sentence. He should have been executed for the death of that federal agent. Again, with all those forum right wingers condemning blacks who criticize brutal police, why haven't those deluded right wingers kept a consistent position by demanding that Weaver die? I agree about McVeigh. A quick death was too good for that criminal. Ted Koppel interviewed several far right white supremacists after McVeigh was arrested. Those Republicans said he was a hero. This because of their hatred and lack of patriotism.
Where is the patriotism of those who state that Donald Trump is not their president? Where is the patriotism of those who identify as being the resistance, who make efforts at opposing whatever Donald Trump may try and implement into law?

Does the fact that one side of the political aisle engaged in such behavior, make it acceptable for the other side of the political aisle to do it when the roles have been reversed? Is it wrong for republican congressmen to do such with a democrat president of the untied states, but right for democrat congressmen to do such with a republican president of the united states?

This is absolute bullshit. No Republicans agreed with or admired McVeigh. The Republicans are always the party of law and order, never terrorism. White supremacists are not Republicans. The Republican party regularly and routinely distances itself from white supremacists. Just once I'd like to hear the Democratic party distance itself from the Communist party or the Black Panthers. Opposing the other party's political goals is not unpatriotic. Patriotism is wanting what's best for the country, and if you believe the other party's goals are bad for the country, opposing those goals is patriotic. What's not patriotic is trying to go around the system by using violence and intimidation, deep state bureaucrats, and refusing to obey the law or cooperate with federal officials in violation of the law. Those are treasonous and/or criminal activities, not patriotism. So it's the Democrats, not the Republicans or Tea Party, who are unpatriotic.
