    If you were that rude to customers you wouldn't have any or your employer would fire you. As they should.
    Not a fan of any kind of authoritarianism. Be it you telling a company who they can and can't fire or a gay couple demanding a bakery make a cake for them.
    If you talk to your employer like that you should be fired.

    What was the purpose for which she was getting the drug? What is the only purpose for taking the drug?

    I see it no different from being in a state where euthanasia is legal and a pharmacist refusing to stock euthanasia drugs or dispensing them if it goes against his moral beliefs.

    A doctor has to operate. They can be fired in most states for no reason with the right to work laws what's your point?

    Agreed a pharmacist can be fired too.

    A doctor has to operate by law.

    This pharmacist disnt break the law and if cvs doesnt wanna punish him then so be it and of discussion.

    You said you can be fired for not filling a prescription and that is not the case in some states. Some states respect the right to not sell emergency contraceptives by law.

    So your employer can't fire you for refusal to do your job? What kind of dump has those rules.

    The right to give your employer the finger and not be fired? What a stupid law.

    1. A pharmacists job is to review the medication prescribed and to confirm that the prescription is safe and appropriate to administer to the patient. The job description requires discretion. Prescriptions are denied all the time in the course of doing a pharmacists job. If they didn't have discretion they wouldn't be necessary. Some high school kid could hand you your drugs.

    2. No pharmacy or pharmacist is expected to sell every drug. This pharmacist doesn't sell Ella. The owner, according to the plaintiff, knows he doesn't sell it. He was doing his job.
