That would entirely depend on what you mean when you say "objectify". Obviously, looking at a woman or even giving her a creepy compliment is not equal to "dehumanising" her. But, literally treating her as an object as do, for example, rapists obviously is the worst form of dehumanisation there is. Way too many terms have now been inflated to the degree that they no longer mean anything.
It’s like a pendulum...for way too long women had men feel they could say and do offensive things because they were unaware they were offensive. And example is when I was in college and working as a temp in an office, the boss would massage my shoulders while I was working and I didn’t know how to tell him to keep his hands off me.
