God tells His people if they obey God's commandments, they [collectively] will be blessed... but if they disobey [collectively] they will be cursed. In other words, we are our brother's keeper. If your neighbors sin... sooner or later it will affect you and the morality of the entire nation. But to give you a secular example... I remember years ago Hillary saying that it takes a village to raise a child. She was right. The people collectively are responsible for what happens within their nation and how that affects their chidren. .

heres a question; obviously a god that is so indiscriminate for punishing good people along with evil ones is evil himself. Holding you responsible for the things people in your area code do is illogical. You could be a perfect person and go to hell because of things out of your control. we do not have control over the things others do around us. I’m pretty sure you don’t want me stomping into your house and forcing you to do things you don’t want to do because a I read a book that says I’m getting punished forever because of your choices. That’s insane. have you considered how illogical this is, and why you’d blindly agree with such ambiguous finite punishment? The very premise alone means you yourself may very well spend an eternity in an icky place because you’re not legally allowed to force others to do what you think they should do. is that not a concern?
Per the Bible verses I quoted [did you not read them?]... ALL have sinned and NONE does good. God requires God's people to administer God's laws in their government. Some crimes are capital crimes requiring the death penalty. When God's people disobey God and do NOT administer God's justice in their society but instead allow evildoers to run amok to corrupt and pervert the culture and allow that evil to fester... per the Bible example I gave you in a previous post... eventually all are punished collectively... but the type of punishment may differ. .
So god punishes the just along with the unjust. That’s incredibly evil. Worse, no one has the right to punish ME over what they think god wants any more than I have the right to punish YOU over what I think god wants. That’s genuinely insane, why do you not question the lack of logic there?
