You need to be in the crew van after a night with some Guiness. You would be . . . well, I don't know that 'amazed' is the right word. I'm not sure there is a right word. 'Foul' just doesn't do it justice.

Don't get me wrong, I ain't mad at all the tomboys in here that wanna get in the trenches with all the musty dudes with the very real possibilty of getting your face blown off. I'm just saying, I don't think hardcore war is a place for women, who at any time can have an emotional PMS episode. yall can get everybody killed. it's just common sense not to allow it. And I can't honestly find one reason why women even want to do it. Mostly just to say they can. which is ignorant IMO.

but hey, we're living in Post-America days so everything is a free for all. because when you're spiraling as a people, you spiral as a country.

America is spiraling as we speak.

Maybe ALL Men should just up and quit working and let the women do everything men do just to say they can do it. let them be the bread winners for a change.

I sure could use the time off to sit on my ass at home watching the game drinking beer and fixing on my cars.

don't sound too appealing does it ladies?

It's a reason Men have roles and Women have roles in society.

In my almost 30 years as a woman, I have never once had an "emotional PMS episode." You get cramps and bleed a little out your vag for 5 days. You do not have a mental breakdown unless you have other psychological issues. And what does me being a pilot have to do with being in the trenches? Are you changing your tune after just one post? That was quick.

Your ranting is all over the place and I will give you some time to get your thoughts together so you can approach this topic with a coherent post for once. Take a deep breath and get that mental wheel turning before you reply with some other completely inane response.

Are talking about women in combat? if so, that's what I'm talking about.

so what are you talking about?

so, you're a pilot, AND? have you ever been in combat? or do you just deliver humanitarian aid in times of calm?

Have you ever had to get down elbow to elbow with infantry while .50 cals wizzing inches over your head ?

let's get on the same topic here.

In Basic training, Blue Phase, recruits go through obstacles with a .50 cal going overhead. Female recruits have the same experience. Your job could be an administrative clerk and you've still gone through that at Basic.

What's the big deal, you stay low and keep moving.

I'll sum up 54 pages of discussion.

The issue is that an 11Bravo requires heavy lifting that women are not naturally suited for. Even I, an advocate for women in ground combat...will concede this.

Anyone who thinks they can't handle the combat side of it, is just plain wrong. They've already proven they can.

    carry on...

Are you Military? If so, attention I detail. She has posted numerous times what she dies in this thread and the first one.

If you're not, read this thread then come post.

I already assumed she was Military, I asked if she's been in Combat.

and I'm too bored with this thread to read all the pages to find out.

    peace out.

The Moderators should probably close this thread, (exceeds limit) and if someone else would like to initiate (part III) that's fine; but I'm talked out and have nothing to add that hasn't already been discussed.

Fine by me to end the thread at the Mod's discretion.

I'm sure we all want to read Up on the Governor expound on her period, if the conversation gets slow.

She can't be in combat because of her period. Fact.

so what is the kick you get out of being in combat? you like big guns and warfare, hanging with the guys, etc? can't really be much more than that I assume.

Like I said, I have no problem with tomboys who wanna risk gettin' their heads blown off but in my opinion, a woman has no friggin' place on the battle field. none. females bring nothing extra to the situation. they actually distract fromn it.

not like you females can whip up a batch of cookies and woo the enemy into a sugar high to catch them easier. it's just a Women's lib thing that's way passed annoying.

and so what if you pass all the tests Men before you have passed. what does it prove? nothing but that you're a tomboy. that's it.

I would like to hear what's so special about Women being in combat, not if they should be. that's a more valid question.

Come on man, you sound like you were dragged kicking and screaming from the 1950s. Women can and should be in "combat." They should NOT be in ground combat arms. There's a big distinction between the two.

    Haha.

Hey Gov, do they have little colonoscopy bag of some sort that you can just bleed into?

    That'd be neat....giggity.
