Let's get practical,

no woman should "receive political or non political heck", for breast feeding an infant, in public.

 

Uh, no, it is a relatively low risk surgical intervention in patients in generally good health, laparoscopic techniques make the procedure minimally invasive and short hospital stay.

If you think that it is an improper comparison that is different. However, it really isn't. Major or minor, if it is not a medical necessity, we should not perform a medical procedure on a child.

But at this point I now have to wonder how we got to circumcisions and other medical procedures on a thread about going topless. IF this been a trans thread, I could see the possible path, but man are we off the beaten path for the topic!

If you have ever diagnosed a case of appendicitis in a Newborn, please advise me of it.
I have never heard of any such published cases in pediatric medicine.

And yes, there is an entire classification of fetal surgery performed, before a baby is born.

Women should have the same rights to their own bodies as men, Public and Private. The taboo on female breasts is entirely social and has more to do with silly prudence than anything else.

 

My mind can't understand the sexualization of women's breast, but the rest of my body sure does.

It's in us now, for better or for worse. And with our puritan times, it will be hard to shake off (no pun intended).

There are no laws on how a person pees. The issue is not what any given person is likely to do, but whether or not the law is discriminating upon the basis of one of the protected classes.

 

There are plenty of women for it too. Some of them are even straight, and some of the guys for it are gay.

 

It isn't, it's discriminating on the basis of biological differences.

Bottom Line, I support "Free the Nipple", but we can't even show nipple on most forums much less broadcast TV.....OTOH, blood and guts are freely shown.

Biological difference would be their sex, which is not an allowed basis of discrimination.

 

Keep in mind that what is legal to show isn't necessarily what they will show. All of the various media (TV, Periodicals, Internet Forum, etc) have the right to not show something even if it is legal to do so.
