Women have legitimate gripes. Men have enjoyed white privilege for centuries

The reason we hear about women teachers having sex with underage students is because it is rare and makes headlines. But let’s talk more about rape against ones will. Or do you really think the same amount of women rape as men do. Do you really worry as much about your sons being raped as you do about your daughters. Sounds to me like victim envy

Now that’s a really dumb question. Nothing to do with gender. There used to be a shortage of women in law schools and medical schools and business schools because of patriarchy but despite people who think the way you do that has changed

They haven’t! That’s why we have affirmative action like the affirmative action white men enjoyed for hundreds of years

Because they don’t want to! Why aren’t there more men working in Daycare?

Sewer work pays a lot more than Daycare work.

Would you say its reasonable to conclude, based on 'women dont want to...' that at least some of the pay gap is due to women's preffered professions?

Oh so now it is "white men". Isn’t that a racist position to take? I cannot keep up with identity politics. The left finds new groups to fool everyday.

No it isn’t paid less because of the profession it is paid less because women dominate the profession. For centuries they were able to pay women less. A good example is nursing. Women were denied access to medical schools and very few women went. Now those same women that would have been nurses are becoming doctors and making big bucks. So what has happened? The nursing profession is not able to get nurses and as a result , nursing pays quite a bit of money.

In order for that to be true, there would have to be a conspiracy where someone or a group deliberately manipulate the wages of men dominated professions to be higher than women dominated professions. Do you believe this is the case?

Do you have evidense that wages are artificially manipulated to boost male dominated professions and/or lower women dominated professions?

Is it possible, in your view, that professions dominated/prefered by men naturally tend to be more financially and/or productively valuable than professions dominated/prefered by women?

The professions opened to women in the past were secretarial nursing and teaching predominately. Do you think it is just a coincidence that these professions paid less? Do you think teaching which is probably one of the most important jobs there is it’s paid less than an accounting per hour? Women have been paid less than men for doing comparable are the same Work. That’s why Obama signed the Ledbetter act. Women didn’t have options so they took the jobs they could get .Did you ever take a history course?

That is the issue. I do understand. The trouble is I understand true history and do not buy into the left's phony version of it.

Of course Ive taken a history class.

In the past there were a lot of jobs that women were prevented from doing by various means. That was in the past.

    Im talking about today.

I can't say for certain why teaching pays less than accounting, but I don't believe its because someone is trying to make women get paid less. Its far more likely a result of society in general caring more about money than education.

Today women can do all the jobs men can do. Yet there is still a wage gap.

I've answered your questions. Will you answer mine (from my previous post)?

Lol...you’re right all those history books are part of a liberal plot.
That’s the trouble with the uneducated they just assume if they don’t like something it’s fake because Trump told them that and they don’t think for themselves

You can’t ignore the past. That’s a cop out and the reason the teachers are paid less is because of the past. Women were the teachers so they were able to pay them less but now little by little the salaries are increasing. I love when you say that society cares more about money than education. I guess they care more about accountants than they do about education. I believe I’ve answered your questions

So you source "all those history books" to support your phony baloney. I doubt you know what is in any of them.

Would you agree, then, that the problem that caused women to be payed less is now solved?
Or is there more you think needs to be done?

Typical Trumper. History books are all ohony baloney. I guess you never go to museums because they’re probably all part of this big conspiracy. Not only do I know what’s in them I actually read them. But I’m sure you didn’t bother to read any history books because they would all be fake to you. So sad

No.. not yet.....It wasn’t too long ago that we had to enact the Ledbetter bill. Teaching is still dominated by women but more and more men are becoming teachers and lo and behold the wages are going up. Same with nursing

I actually googled this just a bit ago, and women are 3/4 of teachers, compared to 2/3 some years ago.

More women teachers than men than there used to be and wages still climbing.

"More than three-quarters of all teachers in kindergarten through high school are women, according to Education Department data, up from about two-thirds three decades ago. The disparity is most pronounced in elementary and middle schools, where more than 80 percent of teachers are women.Sep 6, 2014
