    The world is certainly well aware of the direction US world leadership is taking.

    We've denigrated, ended or just ignored pretty much every form that US leadership could take, instead taking a position that we're so good that our 5% of the world population can lead even if we actiely disdain the other 95%, even if we STATE that we only care about ourselves.

    The UN, NATO, WHO, nuclear agreements, our attempts to cornor the COVID vaccine market for ourselves, bailing on a pacific trade deal that could have us leading a body of nations significant enough to make a difference vs. China. We demonstrate our total ineptness at home with the worst COVID defense of any first world nation.

    Now, our economy is a wreck and other significant economies are in position to form their own agreements while opening without us. They can't even allow us to TRAVEL to their countries without extreme caution!


    Our world leadership IS flagging badly. Others are stepping to the plate in our pretty nearly total absence.

    How can anyone POSSIBLY think this direction is good for America, a nation of only 5% of the population, living off the largess of past performance while other nations show clear and well liked leadership toward the future/

    None then (regarding Yemen).

    And there would've been few in Iraq if the Iraqis had simply accepted that they lost the war and complied with the dictates of the U.S.

    Did you read the article? Its a hack job. I dont really think our influence has dimished, I do think we are removing ourselves from unnecessary foreign entanglements and i support that.
