Did you just invent that all on the spot?

Or would you have reliable news links?

I'm certainly uneasy watching the riots, but not in the least uneasy at the protests. Throughout history we have seen effective protesting resulting in important change. I'm hopeful that's what will come from this.

The Kochtopus is incredibly powerful. But I don't think Koch would touch Antifa with a ten foot pole. One of the movements he got control of was the Tea Party. But that's the exception, he funds and controls dozens of organisations. Propaganda machines, ALEC, which writes and promotes kooky or corrupt (or both) legislative proposals. And then he has lobbyists that work on getting that legislation passed. He has a school that is mostly about brain washing. Pence went there.

ANTIFA is older than Koch. It's a bottom up organisation, a movement. It didn't take long to find out Koch had the Tea Party dancing to his tune. I haven't heard anything like that about ANTIFA.

George Floyd autopsy: Police’s knee pressure on neck, back caused death
An independent autopsy ordered by George Floyd’s family has found he died from “asphyxiation from sustained pressure” to his neck and back.
    https://www.news.com.au/world/north...h/news-story/646cd075e3fe6b90577bdf712faeabd7

    Now another autopsy says asphyxiation.

Guns are banned in Sweden. People still get shot. Guns are banned in Chicago and that city leads the entire nation in gun deaths. Banning guns won't solve this problem at this juncture. Illegal Guns will still be bought and sold to those with nefarious intentions.

One guy who is the son of the Minnesota AG? You're generalizing from one person who may not himself be a Democrat. Absurd.
Sure seemed like that's what you want to do.

Is someone proposing banning all guns? There is no way that could take place given SCOTUS decisions about the right to defend your home.

I think we might consider what reasonable restrictions might be placed on firearm ownership. Convicted criminals? No. Mentally ill? No. Senile? No.

Do we want to restrict types of weapons? Automatic firearms?

Speaking of World uneasily watching US protests...

I'm speechless that Trump would use military force to disperse a peaceful protest so he could walk across the street for a photo op of him holding a bible.

"Keep things the same?" I think you're a reactionary, not a conservative. Real conservatives understand change in natural and identify and apply principles. Things don't stay the same.
Nonsense. I don't support this loser...

    Yes, well, but so what?

When you see what is happening to the "right to bear arms" in your lives perhaps you'll have a "wakey, wakey"? Or perhaps not if you live in some rural community where hunting is a perennial passtime.

Nobody has the right to kill someone else with a firearm. And when that happens with wild-abandon in large and small cities IT MUST BE CONDEMNED with high prison sentences. There is no reason whatsoever that any American, who is not serving his/her nation, to own an automatic weapon. (Except for the fact that they saw a movie where people were killing one another with them and you though "hey, wouldn't it be nice to shoot one of those off?")

There are damn good reasons why automobile speed-limits exist. And as well for firearms!

Automatic weapons are for military purposes and just because you "had one" during your military service does not mean you should have either the right or the necessity to possess one in order to "protect your home". A simple "alarm call" to any local police-department should all that is necessary.

    Period ... !

O yeah ... you make my day! One of those who come with this Soros conspiration? Really? Didn't you forget to name Bill Gates, too?

Jesus ... how can someone claim so much BS in one post! Since when is BLM and ANTIFA are the same please? Only in your imagination and that of your like-minded people ... but not in the majority of people who are for facts and not for confused claims, paired with half-truths and omitting facts that refute you!

Over and over again this spiritual BS with Soros and the oh so huge conspiracy ... honestly, that's something so much ridiculous and comparable to believing in flying, pink elephants!

    MORAL VALUES?

Children learn their prejudices in the home, if they learn them at all.

To avoid them, kids should not hear them at the breakfast/dinner table, but more so in their schooling.

Children learn their prejudices from their parents, and they carry them into their own lives. It is schooling that can have an influence. But in the home, where violence is all over the BigScreen in the US (because "it sells") it is hard for parents to avoid that the kids see the violence. But at least they should try.

America's problem, in my view here from Europe, is that it has lost and is still losing its Moral Values. What are those?

Yes! That is exactly the problem. Why were they not taught in primary- and secondary-schooling! You think you learn then whilst going in church. You-plural think that the commandment "Thou shalt not kill" is having its proper impact in your lives?

Then why does the US have the highest gun related death-rates in the world? See here:

Any country with those high death rates (in red above) is immoral. The only one is America, which apparently does not know how to implement and manage gun-related violence ...

Blah, blah, blah. Look at the death-rate in the countries that I have posted.

Will you get your facts together before blathering-in-a-blog ... ?

They would not know a FACT if it bit them on the nose (or their collective asses). Ignorance is what ignorance does.

Just look at what the Senate Replicant Party (majority of the Senate) did to an impeachment request from the Democrat HofR, based upon factually derived information. They let him off the hook!

Is that the "raison d'etre" of a political-party? To protect the "privileges" of its members?

    Oh! Goodness me! That's NOT what I was taught in high-school civics-class ... !

Blah, blah, blah from the Rabid Right.

Not all guns need be bared. Guns necessary for the sport of hunting are OK.

But automatic weapons should be banned. Do you GET the difference?

    Methinks not ...

The stats show that blacks are a higher percentage of the population in jails. But, then, so are Central Americans.

The point I am trying to make is that EDUCATION is the necessary quality that we need "primed" in the US. And, frankly, I don't think allowing ignorant workers entering illegally is in the interest of the country. They get in because the can - and they seek to stay. If we had the right mechanism for employment requiring a National Identity Card, then the "expats" would diminish - they just might stop coming.

I, for one, was pleased to see the Cubans escape the communist-regime in Cuba. But, that was a long time ago. Communism is history. But, at the same time, the US is NOT the world's Melting Pot any longer. (And that is how my parents entered!)

From here: Immigrant Workers in the US Labor Force - New American Economy
Let's also not forget also that a high content of migrants are educated. Which means they are very likely allowed to enter with the proper visas.

    OUR POVERTY THRESHOLD

We have a large enough Poverty Threshold (around 40 million* Americans) and we cannot even get them out of the poverty-hole! They and their children are stuck there!

I insist that they will remain there if their children are not "programmed" out - that is, we implement Post-secondary Education at state institutions of learning free, gratis and for nothing. (Which is exactly what Hillary and Bernie had proposed - but what the erroneous Electoral College gave us was Donald Dork ... !)

*38.1 million to be exact according to the Census Bureau. About the population of the state of California, our largest!

And that is going to happen if Trump gets a second term. I don't see how anyone can doubt that since he is on the border of doing it now.
