I believe he is being extremely modest as this will change the lives of millions of people in third world countries... To understand exactly what difference this will make, you have to consider that many people living in much of the world will never leave their village or town due entirely to the fact they have limited transport. BUT imagine having to get your own water and water, maintain a house hold and keep a family when the services are 20 to 50 miles away. For many in this world having foods which they normally will not ever see, being able to get the most basics of materials which all in Australia takes for granted such as paper and pens. Really, if this is distributed right, millions will look to Murray as one of the most prolific person the world has produced We should all applaud this man Yes same substance, even though some would not want to discuss poverty and see ways to help rid it, I believe considerably more would be happy to hear it and maybe discuss other ways to eradicate poverty around the world.

Let us ask a question of fellow PF members, Should Australians be limited on what can and cannot be discussed simply because some posters are incapable of accepting responsibility for issues of poverty??? Simply because a poster does not wish to discuss an issue should it be sent away??? If there is a problem then complain. The article doesn't indicate the cost nor the load capacity of the vehicle which may be critical to its success. It really appears to be little more that a standard work cart with a different suspension and a plywood cab.

Yes that is true, However, this is something nations such as Australia can assist in with its aid programs. There are many things people who are desperate cannot afford which is why poverty is not simply a subject for the poor as some would have us believe... Put simply, $45k being too expensive but it is cheaper than $70k. could be be produced cheaper again??? Well at least people are trying.
