    Let me update your knowledge. Americans suffer greatly from vanity so white teeth are important. You're likely to make that business deal with a false white smile, lol.

    The UK are more interested in dental hygiene, a natural smile and some teeth straightening.

    Statistics suggest that, taken on pure oral health rather than appearance, the UK does better than the US.

    According to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's (OECD) figures, the average number of missing or filled teeth for a 12-year-old in the UK in 2008 (the latest figures available) was 0.7. This was the joint best rating that year.

    The last figure reported by the OECD for the US, in 2004, was 1.3 - when the UK also got 0.7.

    True story. Two American guys stopped at mine (Couchsurfing days) a few years ago. We all went food shopping. One guy put a 1" thick pizza in the oven, looked about 14" diameter. I would struggle to eat half and I have a good appetite. He scoffed the lot. About 15 mins later, he stood up and said, "Think I'll put another in" :omg: and scoffed all of that too :omfg:

    Black pudding is a super food, excellent source of iron. About 99% of it is made in Spain. It costs too much to make from pigs blood so a factory in Spain processes it into powder form. Butchers etc.. just add water add their own fat (normally 10% ish) and seasoning.

    Phooey. While I love the British folks (often have a good time laughing & joking with them on soccer or cricket chats), one thing that they often laugh at it is the old 'brown teeth' jokes.

    Heck, a while ago I watched a PBS show dealing with the queen's castle and there was this lady who was a tour guide - she was immaculately dressed, had a great hair style with not one hair out of place, and had a great makeup job on her face. But she had brown teeth! Boy-oh-boy, talk about stereotypes!
