Aldrich was already gone from the Senate for two years by the time that Woody Wilson and his "progressive" liberal Democrats rammed this Federal Reserve central bank monstrosity into law.

In fairness, Republican "robber-baron" hands were all over it. Aldrich was in-thick with J. D. Rockefeller and J. P. Morgan who supported the idea of a central bank cartel that THEY could control. The basic idea for it, however, emerged from the Civil War, because Lincoln and his central-government enthusiasts needed MONEY for their war... and the best way to get it was from an equally 'central bank' -- controlled by a small group of the emerging Northern wealthy who stood to make fortunes with a central bank in a central government

The "progressive" libs under Woody Wilson were gulled into supporting this central bank idea because the thought it would prevent any more severe disruptions and "panics" in the economy. Note: less than 20 years AFTER creation of the 'Fed', the country experienced The Great Depression! And we've gone on having 'booms' and 'busts' ever since... much as before.... Having a "central bank" like the Federal Reserve cartel fixed NOTHING!

Liberal Democrats are often good at reviewing their worse mistakes AFTER they've made them... and Woody Wilson said LATER, in 1919, that support for the Federal Reserve System was the greatest regret of his life!

 

Oh, so the government has the right to demand that any citizen can be forced to make his individual tax return open for public inspection? In truth, I did not know that to be a fact... and I still doubt it. Seems a little bit like something that a NAZI government would demand.... Nevertheless, I decided to look for opinions on the matter, and it turns out that this is something of a muddy mess -- especially when entirely politically-motivated.

Odd... I don't see or hear anybody but a clot of America-hating, radical Democrats in Congress bitching and bellyaching to get their hands on the man's private tax returns.... It's simple really. Barack Obama had fewer qualifications for the presidency than White John Edwards and John Edwards was essentially laughed off the stage. Barack Obama on the other hand was WORSHIPED for no intelligent reason whatsoever. Had Barack been White he wouldn't even have been considered experienced enough to be selected as a vice presidential running mate.

 

He would have never won the Senate seat to begin with. His entire career might be at a 7-11 serving up day old wieners. Which may have been closer to his real qualifications.

 

His first two year as president was a freaking nightmare because the man had been Peter Principled sooooooooooooooooooo far above either his innate abilities or training that had the frantic Mainstream Media not been religiously spinning and covering for him non stop he would have been only a one term president. The MSM LIED Barack Obama into a second term.

 

Imagine the hysteria in the #MSM if Bush had spied on Obama to get McCain elected. Imagine if any other President had committed just 1/10th of the crimes Obama and his Administration had committed.

But throwing children off the balcony of the 3rd floor at a mall barely raised their interest, because of who did it.

 

I would submit the old joke about the Left; that if not for double standards they would have no stan . . . but then I don't want to receive a warning for telling the actual truth -- again.
