Good thing its illegal to sell your organs like that. Otherwise it would be only the rich who received organ transplants, and as usual, the poor would be left out in the cold to die.

They do that already in poor countries. Got no money? No worries, just sell a kidney to the highest bidder. What happens when they become ill and need a new kidney? I guess they just die.

This is a tough one. I like to drink myself stupid and my doctor likes to warn me that that is bad for someone with two kidneys. I would start negotiations at five million dollars.

Do they put it IN free? If not why not let people sell organs even if they are dead they could leave nice change for their estate?

Not a seller at any cost. Not a buyer at any cost. I'm an advocate of seeing how long my own kidneys last and not relying upon artificial extensions of life to others or my own.

It should not be illegal to sell your own organs. They are yours, not the governments. You can sell your time, your talent, you can sell sex legally in some places, why not your organs?

Consider an organ donor. A man gets killed in a car accident, his family has now lost their primary means of income, his kids college future is in jeapardy. But he is an organ donor, the ambulance that rushes him to the hospital gets paid, the hospital and doctors that remove his organs get paid, the hospital sells the organs for big bucks, the ambulance service that transports the organs gets paid, the hospital and doctor that impants the organ gets paid, the person that gets the organ gets a new life, he is healthy and can work and his family benefits. The only people who get NOTHING in this process are the donors family.

There is a shortage of organ donors. If donors were paid then everyone would be an organ donor.

If you could sell a kidney, now's the time for do it.

In the near future they will be able to fabricate new kidneys automatically accepted by your body.. They will be able to replace and repair dying tissue and all sorts..

Meaning you won't get very much for your real kidney in the future because you can just make 'em in a lab. And if you did sell yours back in the day, you can get a replacement now and resume drinking yourself stupid again.
