The monarchy would be in charge of appointing a governor general who would appoint senators, intellectuals who would debate the merit of the judges, and then appoint only those best suited for the positions, with no consent or suggestions from the president or house of representatives.

The House would be upped to 1000 members and parties would be able to sign up and run for the house, with voting being done proportionally. Each state would get 1 seat per 0.1% of the population rounded up (giving Wyoming 2 not just 1)

The House would elect the president out of the candidates and be able to remove him/her with a simple majority vote of no confidence.

All laws would be checked by the courts for constitutionality and no political bias.

With this the people are in complete control of legislation and the courts are completely independent of politics.

Not just no, but hell no. Our system isn't perfect, but it's better than any other in the world. Please go move to Europe. We don't need your bullshit here. If we wanted that, we would have stayed part of England.

(BTW, your post reflects Plato's Philosopher king idea, which has not worked since Plato's time (roughly 400 BC). There is no reason to think that it will ever work.)

No, because they are biased by the data you put into them. Look what happened when Amazon tried to use AI to speed up it's employment process.

I'd be all for it, provided it was drawn at random from the population at large and carried a term limit of one day. The Congress, Judiciary and bureaucracy at large could have longer term limits of 3 years... then OUT FOR LIFE. Don't want to seem unreasonable after all.

He's just unhappy that the system, as it currently sits, stands in the way of his political agenda.
Thus, he wants to change the rules.

No this system is anti majority, the courts are corrupt and rule with political bias, and congress is in the hands of corporations.

Please Donald Trump create a constitutional crisis that will destroy all faith in the document and force it to be re-written or see the country collapse.

    Always has been, as intended.
Why do you think a system where 2 wolves and a lamb decide what's for dinner is better than what we have now?

A system whereby the majority can't change the rules at whim, in order to pilfer the minority over and over again.

We have a monarchy now, somewhat superficially different than what you propose, but dressed up in the sham suit of a democratic system.

If the grotesque non-choice of the pig Trump and the reptile Clinton didn't make this clear to everyone once and for all, there's no hope that the eyes of the People will ever be opened.

This system has lasted 225+ years. It works. You are just on the losing end of power currently and are not grown up enough to accept the fact that that is the way it is now. When Obama was in power during his first two years, the conservatives didn't like it, but no violence was heard. The people got sick of it and elected Trump. Next month, it could be changing the other way.

That really is it, isn't it?
Both in terms of its deliberate and directed requirements for supermajorities and its outright prohibitions of certain actions by the state, the constitution protects the rights of the minorities; we've already seen he doesn't give a hoot in hell about rights OR minorities.

No! Never! We have no need for kings, queens, emperors, czars, czarinas, empresses, or any other type of monarch. That is going backwards.

If the GOP could win elections fairly and legitimately, by not gerrymandering trying to create new ways to stop people from going to the polls and actually win the popular vote for once, then I would have no problem, the people want what they want. But the GOP has to cheat to win elections because they are a clear minority and they know that if elections are fair they will never win again.
