You're wrongly assuming they're telling the truth?

They're not, they're safer than they ever have been, sexual assault is more taboo and socially unacceptable than ever.

No smoke without fire? No, especially if the accused is rich and famous.

To get an opportunity to lie or tell the truth. The difference between the application of the law between the well connected and wealthy vs the poor, is just that. The Trumps of this world are shielded from telling the truth by their wealth and connections to power.
If America wants a serial sex abuser on the bench, that’s their political choice. But it should be made knowing the evidence going in.

If you have to ask, ask instead why one source is more inclusive of all people’s incdling minorities and women, and which spends their time suppressing it.

You're right in the sense the rich can hire lawyers and PIs to even the balance the odds, the average joe has the whole justice system against them and little redress. You don't know who's telling the truth so how can you condemn one side or the other?

It's not, all networks report the same facts, it's their interpretation which is different.

Sexual assault was always taboo but now because of the me too movement...it is exposed

Because the evidence against them is not sufficient?

I don't think so, what previously could have been dismissed as horseplay and flirting these days would be sexual assault and harassment. I can just see the headlines in Cosmo and Vogue in a few years time, "Where have all the real men gone?' and 'Whatever happened to the office romance?'. The answer being men are now too terrified to make any move.

You file lawsuit after lawsuit against any man who makes you uncomfortable, causing them to loose their jobs. You call almost any compliment on your looks sexual harassment. You accuse men of naturally being rapists and have a system that favors your accusations over their defense and tell them their natural behavior as males is toxic. Some of you file false rape accusations in the work place or on the street and win the case most of the time, thus ruining that persons career, and now you complain that men are too afraid to ask you out on a date.

Do you see the problem here?

I would rather a man be afraid to make moves, than to make unwanted ones. But you hit the point when you said what was dismissed as horse play and flirting would be sexual harassment today. That is exactly true and being the male you don’t understand it. I Remember being in college at a summer job in an office and the man kept rubbing my shoulders and my neck. just horse play I guess but it made me sick and I was powerless to say anything. How would you feel as a man if your boss was a man and he was hitting on you? It’s the same thing… Unwanted attention.
I’d be curious to know what vogue magazine meant by where are the real men? men who do not have to touch women and demean them.are real men . Men who are not threatened by women
I Give workshops in prejudice awareness and when sexism comes up inevitably men will ask, “how do I compliment a woman” and I tell them the same that they would compliment a man ... You wouldn’t tell a man he looks hot in that suit. And if you’re not sure what to say don’t say anything.

Not all women, no. That would be sexist, but enough women do it to have a significant impact on how our generation of men think and act.

You can acknowledge that, or just sit and shame anyone else who wants to.

Yes I agree with you that enough women can have a significant impact and we see that happening right now with the me too movement! Women have become empowered because millions of us have had these same experiences. To be fair, Men did not realize that they were being offensive. I remember small things like going into the supermarket and asking a male worker a question and he put his arm around me and called me sweetheart. I laughed nervously but I didn’t like it. I didn’t want to hurt his feelings but today he would be aware that it’s inappropriate and today I would tell him to please take his arm off me. Would he have done that to my husband?

One ignorant man does not represent how us men think as a whole. You seem to think we men have no sense of decency and think with our penises and it takes third wave feminism to fix that.

Also, I am sorry this person did this to you at the supermarket. It was a bad thing on his part and he should have been more self aware.

Women can be victims, but not all men are to blame.

Why Do you keep projecting how I think? I don’t know any men who don’t have a sense of decency. I know very fine men I was married to one of the finest. But what you are doing is projecting your vitriol onto women because obviously feminism is a threat to you. You believe that we think all men are to blame . No most men are fine people and some women are not.
Sorry you missed my point about the supermarket. It wasn’t a bad thing on his part because men weren’t aware of their boundaries.he Wasn’t self-aware because men were allowed to do that because women didn’t know what to do because we felt powerless so we usually just laughed out of discomfort. You were saying the incident through 2019 eyes, not 1970!s eyes
Comforting thing is that you see it as a bad thing and that he should be more self-aware which means that you are more self-aware.

And as we've spoken about before, how was he to know his attentions were unwanted unless you told him?

As I point out repeatedly we are now seeing things through the eyes of 2019. Back in those days women were powerless to say anything. Remember all those Olympic girls who were sexually abused by their doctor? That is an example of being powerless and not knowing what to do and feeling isolated. But now women realize that we arent alone and we are believed because one in six of us has been sexually assaulted.
The man who took physical liberties with me,probably wouldn’t do it today....Things were different then

And that is for the best but don't blame this man for the times he lived in.
