Tell me difference between that and Trump telling Honduras and the other shithole countries south of the border that if they didn't get a handle on their fake asylum seekers that he'd cut off all foreign aid. Same thing.

Lets see the tape and see if he asked Ukraine to help him get reelected, or if he asked them to find out why Bidden's son was under investigation and Biden threaten to cut off funds if the investigator wasn't fired.I think he's got the right to ask that. Did Biden have a right to threaten Ukraine? Seems the Left doesn't want to talk about that part.

 

Who said he used it for his campaign? Do we know he said he would hold the money up unless Ukraine told him why they fired the investigator? Did he mention using the information to help his campaign? Lets bring out the tape. He has the right to ask why the investigator was fired.

 

We need to find out if Biden colluded with a foreign government while in office. I thought libs were concerned about such things.

 

This is coordinated.The liberal media know that Bidens, both father and son, are as guilty as hell when it comes to their involvement in Ukrainian criminal and corruption case.This is an attemp to divert the attention from the real culprit - Biden. It seems that the liberal establishment lined up behind Biden, the same way they supported Hillary.

You say we have a criminal in the White House and you guys have spent over two and a half years trying to prove it. But I don't see where Trump has been proven guilty of any charge. Hos Biden committed a crime here?

 

No I don't. Because liberals/progressives/Democrats have been screaming for two years and 9 months or so about impeaching President Trump and about all the crimes he allegedly committed (or impeaching him simply for being a bad man even if he committed no crimes).

What doesn't kill someone often makes them stronger. And nearly three years of shrieking about how Trump is guilty(of something) with things failing to pan out has had the effect of "immunizing" President Trump from accusations of future bad acts.

Too bad for you guys but it is your own fault. Metaphorically, if you're going hunting for big game you'd better be sure you bring them down with the first shot or two.

Yes, he was implicated by his own lawyer and the head of the National Enquirer in crimes concerning the payout to a porn star he slept with right after his kid was born. Let that sink in. Imagine if ANY other President had done ANYTHING like that. That's ALL we would be talking about 24/7. It would be presidency-defining. And that's just one scandal in Trumpworld. Trump also ordered his lawyer to fire a special counsel that was investigating him. Again, that would have been presidency-defining for anyone else. Ditto "falling in love" with a tyrannical dictator, deferring to Putin over our intelligence agencies, etc., etc.

Personally, I would have impeached him for the "falling in love" thing. Treason. Aiding and comforting the enemy. We're still technically at war with these guys. And the President falls in love with their leader? WTF? How is this guy still President after that?

Republicans have been itching for a reason to say in public what they all say in private: this guy's nuts and he's unfit to be President. Using military funding to pressure a country to investigate a political opponent would be that reason. It's easy to understand, everyone knows it's wrong, and no one could possibly defend it. Because it's indefensible. What is a Senator at an impeachment trial going to say? That it's OK for Presidents to do that? No. There's a couple Senators who are that craven, but there's not 30 of them.

Again, this is all assuming Trump used military aid to pressure Ukraine. But unlike the Mueller fiasco, this is easy to get to the bottom of: show the transcript of the call and the whistleblower's report.

 

Military aide does not come from U.S. military funding.

Who cares. If President Trump is removed Mike Pence becomes president. And he can legally serve out the rest of Trumps term plus two terms of his own (if elected and reelected). Potentially the longest serving GOP president in history.

 

I don't think Pence is going to win if Trump is successfully impeached. I think the GOP is finished as a political party for at least a generation if that happens.

 

I remember on this forum about 2015 that some were saying the Republicans would not win another presidential election in a generation.

And if Pence becomes president only a year or so before the election then his election to president is almost assured. Because as Barry Goldwater put it in 1964, "the American people don't want three presidents in three years".
