His installer, China's KGB, doesn't expect him to be nominated or even elected. They just want him to spew pro-China rhetoric during the debates to sway American people's stand towards the trade dispute and the coming war between America and China. UBI is a stupid and dangerous idea because what people need is not just money. A job doesn't simply involve money, but the human connection, respect and the feeling of being needed. You can't just give them some money and let them rot in their shithole. They need jobs. Creating more jobs is critical. But those evil tech giants would happily give you a small sum of money on a monthly base and enjoy gigantic wealth created by technologies invented through the collective national endeavor. Yang is a clown.
Yang is interesting because he is actually talking about a few real issues, so that puts him a head of the other Democratic candidates. But yeah, UBI is a stupid idea.
