these are historical motives - the Bolsheviks put historically Russian territories(the current East of U-Donbass,Kharkov etc)into Ukraine 95 years ago,in order to keep Ukraine within sphere of the Bolshevik's 'influence

KIEV, January 27 (RAPSI) – Kiev Prosecutor’s Office has closed 35 criminal proceedings over mass pro-Eurozone protests held in November-December 2013, according to the Prosecutor’s Office spokesperson Yana Sobolevskaya.

Proceedings against three suspects have been closed, and a motion to close additional 18 cases was filed with the courts by Kiev Prosecutor’s Office. Two motions are now pending for review in Shevchenkovsky District Court.

In December, Police in Kiev have opened 64 criminal cases since mass riots began in the Ukrainian capital, and 14 individuals have been detained.

The Ukrainian Interior Ministry has launched an investigation into the occupation by protesters of the Justice Ministry building in Kiev, according to a statement released on the ministry's website Monday.

On Sunday night, approximately 50 unidentified persons wearing masks and helmets and brandishing wooden and metal sticks stormed the Justice Ministry on Horodetsky Street in central Kiev.

Justice Minister Olena Lukash later told Inter TV that the protesters must leave the building immediately or she would call on the National Security and Defense Council to announce a state of emergency and would recommend President Viktor Yanukovych to break off the talks with the opposition.

Seeking to end the crisis, Yanukovych met with leaders of the three main parliamentary opposition groups for a second time on Saturday, offering the prime minister’s post to Arseniy Yatseniuk, leader of Batkivshchyna, the largest opposition party, and the job of deputy prime minister for humanitarian affairs to former heavyweight boxer Vitali Klitschko, leader of the Udar party.

Lukash said the protesters occupied the building as the government was drafting a law on amnesty and amendments to the constitution.
