The actual media is posting that he's a 29 year old, it's suspected terrorism, but Toronto police are releasing nothing about him.

Just like the guy in Boston that blew his apartment up and the 3 guys that acid attacked a toddler in the UK, they're covering up terrorist attacks.

I wonder why his identity hasn’t been released.

Of course they are! Reporting the truth gets you branded as a racist bigot these days.

Reporting the truth? Thing that through a tad more before making ludicrous claims.

Maybe they've learned that half the reason these little ****s do the crime in the first place is for name recognition?

First, show the individual in question was a legal firearms owner.

Second, actually educate yourself about the firearm-related restrictions in the nation of Canada before attempting to speak about such further.

like the guy that killed the officer that lived in my town. They were quick to tell us his girlfriend said he was schizo...oh gee guys never mind... his drug addicted girlfriend made a medical diagnosis and the media ran with it up until they saw the support for the officer and heard our comments.

Gun violence in Canada has been increasing in recent years especially in Toronto where this shooting occurred.

"Toronto Mayor John Tory told reporters the city had a gun problem, with weapons too readily available to too many people.

" 'Why does anyone in this city need to have a gun at all?' he said in an address to city councillors....

"Toronto is grappling with a sharp rise in gun violence this year. Deaths from gun violence jumped 53 per cent to 26 so far this year from the same period last year, police data last week showed, with the number of shootings rising 13 per cent.

"Toronto has deployed about 200 police officers since July 20 in response to the recent spate in shootings, which city officials have blamed on gang violence."

But where are the guns coming from?

"98% of crime guns in Canada originate in the U.S."

Clearly the law abiding people in Toronto have been effectively disarmed, since not one of them was able to fight back against Trudeau's multicultural poster boy.

In others various threads, the firearm-related restrictions of the nation of Canada have been held up by yourself as examples of what the united states should strive for. Now there is a citation on the part of yourself claiming that such restrictions are apparently insufficient?

If it is gang violence, then it is not a firearms problem as the mayor in question is claiming.

Then the nation of Canada has a serious problem with the smuggling of firearms, and needs to get its own affairs in order without worrying about the affairs of other nations.

Canadian gun laws are good, but have no validity south of their border. That's the problem. If the US did a better job controlling its guns then there would be fewer shootings in Canada.

If Mexico did a better job controlling their cartels, we would have fewer problems in America.

It's already illegal to smuggle guns across the border. It appears enforcement is the issue, then.

They don't wish to, they're too enthusiastic with guns. If the police are gun crazy, then them policing gun control is never gonna work. Changing mentality would take decades.

Then their firearm-related restrictions are easily subverted, and not actually doing any good to anyone by existing. As such they are devoid of reason to continue existing.

Beyond that, why is border control failing to find these smuggled firearms? What is their excuse? How are they getting across the border so easily?

It is not the responsibility of the united states to adjust its laws to consider the impacts they may have on various foreign nations due to proximity.

Beyond that matter, only those who are united states citizens are legally able to purchase firearms in the united states. Citizens from the nation of Canada cannot cross the border, legally purchase firearms in the united states, and then take them back home to the nation of Canada.

The united states already prohibits firearm sales to anyone who is not a citizen of the united states. What more can possibly be done on the matter, that goes beyond a total prohibition on sales to foreigners?
