If the woman is telling the truth and that in the presence of two other women working the event Trump tried to kiss her what do think should be done about it? She's certainly not going to get some monetary civil settlement for it. If we start arresting every person who mistakenly believe the person to whom they were showing affection was OK with we're going to fill up a lot of jails with both men and women. I've had women come up and kiss me I didn't going running to the police screaming sexual assault and then to a lawyer to sue.

 

This is beyond pathetic, that Trump tried to give one of his campaign staff a kiss 2 years ago and it's now actually a campaign issue?

In seeing her being interviewed last night, I would say that she isn't terribly credible. The focus was more on the fact that she was paid far less than white guys who did less work than she did, but I'm still not convinced. It may or may not have happened, but my reaction is 'meh'. But what does that say, that this kind of accusation toward a POTUS, really doesn't shock or impress us very much? Yes, I'm sure people will say that we are no longer moved by msm rantings, but I see it more as fatigue over the countless and endless stories about this POTUS.

 

Maybe I'm old fashioned (I know I am in the MeToo movement), but I just don't see a man trying to give/get a kiss in a public place as being an executable offense, POTUS or otherwise... ***** grabbing is a whole other issue and although we have forgotten, there were some credible accusations from long ago, but this seems a little light to get super worked up over.

I'm sure I posted the same thing about Franken back in the day, and was called all kinds of names for supporting him at the time. I can be fair and say the same about Trump. Bad behavior, but not enough to cause a man's life to be ruined (as one's was)...
