I want you to read Dr. Judith Curry's comments in part. See the link for everything she says. This crap happening to Trump can happen to you. You might gloat it happened to you but you talk of fearing the rich. Now the rich have a very good reason to buy up Twitter or Facebook or Youtube or duplicate them all. Twitter has made enemies. So keep in mind what Curry says.

We've seen posters banned from this forum for much less than inciting violence or organizing an insurrection. Deal with it. If you keep your nose clean, you have nothing to worry about.

Pretty scary. People are being conditioned to live online now more than ever, and at the same time the technocrats are ramping up censorship to the level of federal office-holder's public statements. And I can't even blame people for effectively ask for more and more of their privacy and freedoms to be taken away; too much momentum behind the daily waves of propaganda and fear-mongering for people to think properly about liberty.

So you are wanting to take away private companies' rules for how they conduct their business? Is that what you are proposing? Really?

But heaven forbid we force a private company to not pollute the community. No, that's a bridge too far!

I didn't know they were for polluting my community!
Wait are you saying you are for the regulations of speech and for regulation of pollution; Or are you saying you are against regulations of speech and against regulations on pollution? I am sure you aren't calling yourself a hypocrite on accident!

I am sure twitter and facebook also won't ban you if you don't violate their rules. You know, simple things, like don't advocate for violence, don't use racial slurs, and those kind of things that would not need to be given a second thought for people who generally want to behave as decent human beings.

Anyone who thinks they're speech is protected around here hasn't been around on this forum very long.

You really do live in a box if you believe that, but I don't really think you believe that. I think you care more about toting the party line and protecting monopolistic behavior because it supports your long term agenda.

It depends. If I said I am a Muslim and I was banned from the forum, in the state of California I'd have a case.

Not worried... Are you a moderator? Anyways, What does the forum have to do with what's going on out there! Are you taking advantage of my ADHD and distracting me from the topic?!

You all realize that this isn't about what right Twitter has to regulate speech, right? You all actually see that monopolistic behavior and businesses working together to shut down your competitors is wrong, right? It's wrong even if you disagree with their politics.

You do see that, right? Please tell me you are just messing around and you see that this is wrong

I will never understand what people see in social media to begin with. It is a massive wasteful time sink that far too many people are addicted to. Forums like these are the closest I will ever get to being on social media. Maybe these newly de-platformed individuals can spend their time on heather addictions... like alcohol.

It would be hard to cancel me from social media since I deleted my last account last week. I am strictly a text-based being for the foreseeable future.

Incorrect. Private companies have rules. You don’t follow those rules then you lose the privilege of using that companies product. It a rather simple concept. Why do you feel you should dictate which rules private companies are allowed to implement?

You really don't understand anything. I guess there is no point talking to you about this. Have a nice day. I hope the greater population can grasp the obvious.

What part of a 'private company' do you not understand?
