Who's in favor of school vouchers?

In my state a bill making school vouchers available is in the pipe line and may be heading for a vote soon.http://www.tulsaworld.com/news/loca...cle_904a4265-d0ad-5dae-adde-b9462b4291fd.html

My wife and I are tickled silly about this and hope it passes. I think most feel that the quality of public school education is going down the tubes and this would allow people choose an educational program that they feel fits their family.

Just today another report came out about the budget deficit in the Tulsa Public schools. http://www.tulsaworld.com/news/educ...cle_e6b49f9c-de8a-59bf-a7f6-8c6cc778f73c.html

Maybe getting some kids out of the school will help relieve some of the burden on the teachers and allow them to actually teach.

Just depends. I think you should be free to attend any public school in your state without a need for tuition payments. Beyond that, I am maybe open except when a school's science class teaches "Dinosaur bones are a trick by satan" .
