Republicans are such suckers for lying con man fraud billionaires. There are a million reasons to worry about Trump and be disgusted by him. Much like the propaganda machine of Rupert Murdoch and radio demagogues. And that is it in the whole world and they think it is an argument against law enforcement and journalists around the world. Poor America and you

What is disgusting is the attempt by the Banana Republic Party to undo the results of an election in which 63 million US citizens voted for President Trump.

Your post is hilarious though - keep the laughs coming. It's great to see elitist progressives become unhinged. I can imagine spittle on your keyboard.

I would care if Queen Elizabeth were groped by Trump or Biden and what the reaction would be

Queen slaps Biden and thanks Trump or vice versa?
Queens Royal Guard executes Trump or Biden while they are in the tub and then Russia is blamed
Queen is discovered to be a transexual and Trump is repulsed while Biden is confused and requires further groping to be certain

Not everyone living in poverty is earning a wage. Around half of the 44% are retirees/senior citizens living only on Social Security benefits.

There's no "spin" here. Just facts. Either the news source posts mostly factual material...or it doesn't. One's personal opinion about a news source means nothing.

    Nope.

By cutting wasteful spending, defense spending, ending foreign wars, shutting down foreign bases, corporate control, corporate kickbacks, corporate tax cuts/subsidies/bailouts, tax cuts for the wealthy, and deficit spending...and by putting more money in the pockets of the people, the costs will drop substantially.

Health will also improve as a result of less stress imposed by financial obligations, greater accessibility to alternative/natural/cheaper medical therapies, a cleaner environment, and healthier food...which will further reduce healthcare costs.

Your assumptions are absurd. Apply them to Scandinavia which soaks they low and middle classes to fund their welfarism.

BTW Scandinavia has been gradually reducing their welfare state since the 1990’s. And their economy has been benefiting.

Why do we need millionaires at all? You can't live comfortably on six figures or less?

We just need to ensure a high standard of living for all citizens. Making substantially more money than you need is pointless...unless you want to use that money to make MORE money...which is even more pointless.

Moving out? Who/how many are doing this in Sweden? Whoever is moving out is doing so solely for tax reasons. Or did you mean stashing their money in foreign tax havens? It's common practice for wealthy people to do this to avoid taxes.

How does anyone (other than the rich) benefit if more of the people's wealth is handed over to the rich through wealth tax cuts?

We also have a flat tax system if you count all taxes. Are huge giveaway to the rich and screwjob for everyone else. All GOP voters can talk about is federal income tax because that is what they are told all the time.

Millionaires create jobs. Billionaires create more jobs. That's how capitalism works. More income differential but a higher overall standard of living for everyone.

What you posted is meaningless. What Bernie's democratic socialism means is that the low and middle income quintiles will pay federal income tax at rates similar to Scandinavia.

Wealth creation results in jobs. Gates, Bloomberg, Dell, Jobs, Grove, ... all of these people created jobs by creating wealth. Those people created wealth - nobody handed it to them.

First, understand that anyone running a business will fail if consumers can't afford to buy their goods & services. In a capitalist system, taking money away from people is suicide (but great for the 1%...for a period of time anyway). So to stimulate the economy you have to make sure the population has plenty of money to spend after all bills are paid.

Second, billionaires do NOT create more jobs. They reduce the number of jobs by dominating the market place with lower prices & buyouts, which then destroys smaller businesses. They also destroy small businesses & cause job loss by swallowing up more of the nation's wealth, leaving less for the working class to spend on goods/services. More small businesses means MORE jobs. More giant corporations means FEWER jobs (especially when they merge & become even more powerful).

There are two good ways to create jobs (No. 2 is best):

    (1) Give more money to everyone so that MORE people can create businesses & jobs. (0% interest Govt business loans would help with this too.) Those people that start businesses that offer substantial improvements in living standards without harm to people or the environment can be given special govt funding to further develop their ideas/goods/services.

    (2) The govt can become the nation's direct, not-for-profit employer by hiring people nationwide to work all jobs necessary to ensure a high standard of living for all. This would leave non-essential jobs to the private sector (eg, family-owned restaurants, small stores, etc.), but they would be self-limiting as hardly anyone will want, or need, to work for the private sector when govt is providing great, secure, well-paying, essential jobs. It would also eliminate the need for any taxes, as the govt (publicly owned) is the nation's primary employer. It would also eliminate the risk of private businesses abusing the environment & its workers since the number of people they would be able to recruit would be low to zero.

The bigger they get, the more corrupt they get, the more competitive they get, the more powerful they get, the more they can buy politicians & legislation, the more they can buy out or out-compete small businesses.

    This causes job losses.

You're only looking at taxes (and no, it won't be Sweden's rates, except for the top earners). You're ignoring that the people will have MORE money in their pocket in the end. This will stimulate the economy, help businesses, and create more jobs.

But you seem to think that the nation's wealth & natural resources belongs to the rich. It doesn't. It belongs to the working class who generated it & depend on it for their well being.

The fundamental of economics is that supply is created before consumption. Your reasoning above is completely bogus.

Wealth is created. It doesn't belong to anyone.

You sound more and more like a communist/socialist. Where does the power lie in those forms of government ???
