The purpose being to alert the Senate and, more importantly, the American People, that Trump was going to cheat again in the next elections. Correctly assuming that Republicans in the Senate would place their partisan politics ahead of patriotism and acquit him.

7.25% was redacted. 45% of redactions due to ongoing matter. 7% due to personal privacy. 10% so as not to reveal an investigative technique. Only 38% of redactions were mandated by law.

But here is what is relevant: 96% of what relates to Trump' and his associates' relations to Russia is redacted.

I sometimes wish I had your capacity for making statements absent a shred of factual content to back them up. But what is actually happening in the world compels me to have fidelity to objective reality...........not the musings of an autocratic ideologue.

 

The Trump supporters I know want Trump to be duly elected again, and retire in Jan. of 2024 when someone else is sworn in after winning that election.

As a practical matter, if you wanted a dictator, you would ideally choose someone in their later thirties or early forties so they had something under their belt for experience but could rule for a long time, because transitions of power when there is a dictator can be pretty ugly and hurt a lot of people badly. You wouldn't want short durations in office like 4 years or 8 years, or an older man who has a whole lot more behind than he has ahead of him.

1: Pretty sure that 7.25% falls with in what I said of 6 to 12 percent.

2: Funny how you again truncate and ignore the part where I stated that the leaders in the HoR, including Nadler and Schiff, were allowed to see all but less than 1% of the report, the part that they weren't able to see was the grand jury material. 99% of the report they had access to. Even CNN reported that they had access to all but the grand jury material. Show me any other President in our entire history that gave that much access to Congress.
