Your child says I'm gay. What do you do?

Happens among left wing parents and atheists as well.

 

You know the really funny thing....Most liberals only believe in the "be who you are" **** if someone is gay or transgendered.

If a gay person doesn't think they should be gay, or thinks that they were born with the wrong sexual orientation, liberals tends to do a complete 180, and condemn them.

 

I wouldn't mind if my child was gay.

If we lived in a conservative area, I'd tell them that they should wait to come out to others until they have finished school.

 

I would tell my son to come out anytime time he feel comfortable, and if anyone tries to bully him for being gay, kick their ****ing ass.

Maybe not, but I tell my kid to defend themselves when they are bullied, cause most bullies are pathetic, balless cowards who only pick on people who they think won't defend themselves.

It's probably overly masculine men like you who turn their children gay. It's pure rebellion against the alpha male, who is really a coward at heart (as evidence by your fear of female love), fear of being seen as anything but an ignorant, knuckle-dragging brute.

 

Well when I was in high school, I never told anyone 'cuz I knew I wouldn't be able to handle the bullying. It's not easy to defend yourself against like 4 other guys. Also, when you start punching kids you get in trouble at school, and could get suspended. And that's just the physical aspect. Wherever you go people will viciously bully you with words and you can't just punch them in the face. I just think it's smarter to avoid the bullying in the first place because when you're a teenager, the last thing you want to deal with are bullies.

 

I didn't tell anyone because I didn't want to be gay. I was ashamed of it. Then again I was six foot and 8 in tall my sophomore year, I didn't really have to worry about bullying so much it was an internal thing.

and if you let them beat you up they always will. As long as they can dominate you they will dominate you.

well just because it takes some physical action doesn't mean anyone can't do it. I was always the big kid growing up but I was very friendly. My nickname was the Jolly Green Giant. And some of the smaller kids I was friends with I would stand up for. That just means they got bullied when I wasn't around.

Well if you could just avoid bullies then there would be no such thing as bullies.

 

Well, I don't want to start an argument; I was just explaining my point of view. But you are right that if you don't defend yourself, bullies will always be there.

 

I understand people not wanting to fight.

For Me and My Own Worst Enemy was me. I grew up in the 90s gay students and the high school weren't unheard of but they were ostracized.

 

This is a VERY important point. It shows that there is nothing at all 'accepting' about this stuff.

 

I've been there before. I spent a long time not wanting to have the sexual orientation that I do. And you would not have believed hatred I received over it

 

Where do you get down to the brass tacks of things a homosexual person is only accepted by leftist Under the assumption that they are themselves leftist. Once a homosexual says they're not a leftist then you're the equivalent of an Uncle Tom.

Nothing, your child is saying you’re gay and they don’t even know you.

 

I would say, I love you, and feel bad for you, but you need to remain celibate and stay away from men. If lesbian, same thing but women.

 

If they decide not to stay celibate?

If your son said he was a liberal you would probably disown him

 

I won't have anything to do with a gay marriage. I would treat their significant other as a good friend.
